Goodnight sleep well, love you! Today, an awesome friend gave me an apple tart in a container. After interruptions & distractions, the tart had crumbled. But it was still delicious! This makes me think about life! The tart is like life, random interruptions can change how it looks, but the shaking and interruptions do not change the taste! God is like the container, seems invisible, but no matter how much turbulence, and how many flakes fell off, my tart was still protected! Like the tart, we all have a sweet filling on the inside; our soul. My apple tart might have been more messed up than others, because of all the bumps, but if I had refused to eat it due to the way it looked on the outside, I would have missed out on its deliciousness! Your life might be a mess, your flakes might be crumbled, but your soul is still alive! Live your life to the fullest, you are in God's container! Share your sweetness!

Goodnight, sleep well love you! Lately, I've been vlogging about my cooking and home decor! Before I post, I edit and make them look amazing & perfect! This makes me think about life! Many of us see what people post online and envy what seems like a perfect life! But what you see is not necessarily reality! Stop comparing yourself to the facade of a life you see others living! The posts about their new house, baby, job, & amazing vacations are great, BUT, remember that it is also curated for the public! Comparing & putting yourself down is devaluing yourself & can lead you down a road which isn't what God has planned for you! Cherish the life God has given you! Remember, someone somewhere is also looking at your curated posts and wants what you have! :-)

Goodnight, sleep well, love you! The Judeo-Christian story about Abraham fascinates me. Him & his wife prayed for many years to have a child, and finally at the age of 100 he became a dad! This makes me think about life! When we want something, we try hard, pray and hope. Sometimes, God waits to bless us, not because he enjoys punishing us (although it may seem like it) , but because there are lessons to learn & other things we have to accomplish to make us ready, which we can't understand! While Abraham was waiting to be a father, he accomplished more amazing things which would probably not have been possible if he had gotten what he had been asking God for earlier! Don't give up in despair. Know that if it is, and when it is, it will come! :-)

How David really defeated Goliath.

We all know the biblical story of David, a shepherd boy, who defeats Goliath, a giant. This makes me think about life! I think there is another aspect we don't think of. David used a slingshot and a stone and hit Goliath in his head. Experts agree he must have been an expert at using slingshots, which means he must have been practicing and taking slingshot practice seriously, regardless of how useless most people would have thought it was! David recognized and cultivated his gifts which God gave him! How often do we dismiss the gifts God has given us to follow other people's gifts? Whatever your gift is, singing, dancing, writing, speaking, it is up to you to actually cultivate it! No gift is useless! Who would have guessed that being a skilled slingshot expert would have enabled a poor kid to become king? What if David joined the army like everyone else? Use your gifts! :-)

How to make Cinnamon Crunch Caramelized peanuts at home.

This was actually super easy and takes less than twenty minutes to make!

1) Separate raw peanuts from their shells. (You can use peanuts from cans, but the raw type is better).

2) Measure 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of crushed Cinnamon Crunch cereal.

3) Measure 2 cups of water.

4) Bring everything to a boil in a frying pan and constantly stir until the water clears, there is a brown syrup and the peanuts are covered with the syrup, sugar flakes, and Cinnamon Crunch flakes.

(Optional: Add a pinch of salt)

5) Place the mixture on a separate plate to cool off.

6) Voila!

Grilled cheese sandwich...with a twist!

Lunch! A twist on the traditional grilled cheese sandwich! I added homemade guacamole, cheddar cheese, cream cheese and ham! Added home cut fries, and of course, spinach! Yummy, yum, yum!
