Bake them away, toys!

what's the weirdest food you've ever eaten
That's not a strange question!
Here are some that come to mind as I sit here in bed at 1:25 am:
Eel pies, although they were not particularly weird until I encountered the Salmond pie, which was basically two eels fried and served on a puff pastry crust
Cheese fondue
Cheeseburgers
Eel pie (again)
Gravy, which is probably not considered weird but was for me when I was 10 years old and had my first proper, adult-sized glass of wine and realized my tongue had started bleeding and now I couldn't taste anything for months.
Was this eel tutorial in the pie episode of GBBO added for the American broadcast?
Eel Pie Island
Eel Pie Island. I'm doing some freelance graphic design work on Eel Pie Island at the moment. Eel Pie is in the middle of the Thames at Twickenham in England, and it's a fantastic place to be.
