Don't want to tack this into the car discourse because it's not really important or relevant, but when I was a kid I was in an accident where the car rolled over off the side of the mountain and we were stuck precariously weighted there until rescue could arrive.

Still can't get into a vehicle without shaking. And fuck mountain roads I cannot be behind the wheel for that. It's eyes closed and head between my knees.

If I could tell my 13 year old self anything it would be: that career you're gunning for? That career you're going to pour your heart and soul into getting to and actually get it? Lol forget that by 30 you'll have thrown that away and actually be living your dream life. It didn't just get better, it became purpose. It's all thanks to you, 13 year old me. Your drive and tireless ambition got us here.
