sorry if this is over-stepping but it's a genuine problem in aotearoa that people have asbestos gas masks on display for years and don't know until they get given to museums and tested (i work at the auckland war museum)

(anon cuz it kinda doxes me and 2 i have very bad anxiety and can only send anons) again i really hope this isn't overstepping but it is something that comes up kind of often and i don't know if it's common knowledge
