Why The Academy Of Heroes?
It would've been her choice of school regardless because of her ability and its use of being able to alter people genes, the ability to cure illnesses that have existed for millions of years, the possibility of shapeshifting, immortality, and many more things she could achieve.
Though she's been more forced into it.
However despite the overwhelming support she's gotten from the school to train this ability of hers to the complete maximum. She seems to almost never improve sadly usually stuck at level three.

Backstory
Eeva is actually an orphan she choose her last name after she became an adult, and she liked the familiar sound of it.
However having no parents at a young age did teach her some things about life that she shouldn't have known at nine.
"Want me to fix that for you? of course I can.. for some money sorry.. But you might need to come back later for another treatment I'm not good at using my powers yet. You'll have to pay also, and even then i think you'll need to come back just in case, with another payment too.. and then again."
How does she use her powers?
She can control other people's genes.
