Had a dream where a cool vampire hunter got killed and her vampire boyfriend/soulmate who was one of the strongest vampires and also an ally for the humans played a centuries-lasting long con on the evil vampire queen who killed her by convincing her he was also evil and in love with her. And at the end of that "relationship" they were supposed to meld into one super powerful vampire being and there was super vivid and beautiful gory imagery as their bodies were fusing together, except at the very last moment the vampire guy was like SIKE and absorbed the queen entirely, becoming powerful enough to TURN BACK TIME to before the vampire hunter got killed.

And the story actually "starts" with her finding out she's a vampire hunter (it's hereditary) and getting a very distinct feeling of deja vu every time she fights a vampire, and also knowing to avoid some small things that happened that eventually led to her original death. Nobody remembers what happened cuz the timeline got super reset but she's the only one who knows something's off cuz her vampire beau was like "ok while I'm ripping apart time itself I want MY pookie to have supernatural knowledge on how to avoid dying again and I'm simply trusting myself to be enough of a huge simp to find her and fall in love with her again." Like bro could've given himself all that previous knowledge of the timelines and tried to protect her (and it would arguably make for a more compelling story of this powerful vampire helping a vampire hunter for no reason) but no. He was like "nah she should have that. As a treat<3"

And like. This sounds just like one of those "I was reborn to before I died and now I can redo everything???" stories. I should write it Wattpad slop style and get famous.

Honestly I think after taking everything into consideration, publishing the faery wip is probably not gonna happen?? Or like. Releasing it as a webnovel isn't gonna affect much anyway. Like. People don't publish their things because they hope a tradpub will pick it up, right? And agents don't pick up stuff that's already out for free? But that presumes I'm gonna attempt to query this thing in the first place lol. Which I am not.

And self-pubbing isn't gonna happen either, I don't have the budget or spoons to do the work required. Plus, to make self-pubbing work for you, you need to write a lot and fast. And I'm a slow writer who over-writes.

AND! If the first book somehow does get some traction, I can always publish it on Amazon for free, but then make the sequels actually cost a few bucks? Ya know??

And if not well ... then maybe there's no point in continuing to write it lmao.

Writing the elf marriage wip again and omg Roel is so silly.

He's spent 13 chapters and 50k words thinking Teddy was sooo dull and stupid and lame and cringe and plain-looking and referring to her as "the girl" and then she demolishes 5 men in as many seconds and stands over him in her Edwardian lady underwear looking hench and diesel and pissed as fuck and suddenly he's like "omg I'm so lucky MY WIFE didn't explode me with her mind before when I was rude to her. woaow ... look at how that lace frames her biceps ..."

Bro's sexuality got activated for the first time in his life, bless <3
