Realized I had no good full-body drawings of my 1905 base-ball OC Effie while I was uploading things to Art Fight, so I had to correct that.

I love her, she's originally from a mill town but runs away to the big city to play base-ball & get dragged around to Women's Trade Union League meetings and such by older girls. It's all a very exciting life.

im putting all my art energy into carpe noctem & the 18th century fan i’m making, so ive been making so many little picrews of ocs on the train, which allows me to think about my little buddies without actually drawing them (also drawing on the orange line is hard. not the smoothest ride).

she's living on her own way too young in a west end boston tenement surrounded by other working class girls (though she herself is currently making money as a base ball shortstop) and this is sort of the day-to-day vibe of the neighborhood
