Hi everyone! Sorry this post has been so long overdue. If you missed the beginning of this series, you can find out what your type is here. Today we’re focused on soft classics for the anons who have requested it! This one is interesting because as an adult, I think Kaya Scodelario is actually a soft classic, which is why she no longer suits the same outfits she wore on the show (when she was still a teenager and so had a more elongated, dramatic body type).
When you compare images of her when she was on Skins to images of her now, you can see the difference.
When she was on Skins, she had a very long, narrow, angular look:
But when she wears the same type of outfits now, you can see they don’t suit her as well because she’s become more of an hourglass shape, with very balanced features but a little bit of softness:
So the first thing I want to say is that if you’re still a teenager, your body type might change as you grow, and that’s totally okay and normal.
Soft classics are a balance of softness and angularity, with slightly more softness. They are very symmetrical, with soft or rounded edges all around. They tend to have a proportionate bust, waist, and hips, with slightly short and soft arms and legs. Their facial features tend to be soft and full, with large eyes, soft cheeks, and full lips.
Examples of this type include Carolina Herrera, Catherine Deneuve, Catherine Oxenberg, Deborah Kerr, Donna Reed, Emma Thompson, Grace Kelly, Jessica Chastain, Joan Bennett, Joan Fontaine, Laura Linney, Lee Remick ,Marion Cotilliard, Meredith Baxter Birney, Merle Oberon, Meryl Streep, Naomi Watts, Norma Shearer, Olivia de Haviland, and Veronica Lake. I think that list probably also includes Megan Markle, Amber Rose, Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kirsten Dunst, and Leighton Meester.
In general, Soft Classics should look for clean and symmetrical silhouettes with waist emphasis, tapering or cropping around the ankles and wrists, and simple, soft, slightly rounded details. Clean, unbroken lines, smooth draping, and small gathers look great on this type. But Classic types also have a little bit more leeway in terms of borrowing elements from other looks, since they are so balanced.
Starting with dresses, Soft Classics should look for options that are graceful, flowing, and elegant. Flared shapes look great on this type, and waist definition is a must. Ruffles, slightly ornate details, and sparkly fabrics are good things to look for. Soft Classics want to avoid severely tailored dresses, ones that are wide and unconstructed, and ones that are fussy or flouncy.
A simple black dress like the one Marion Cotillard is wearing here can provide a great base for an edgy outfit. You can see that she has some slight ruching around the neckline, with a defined waist:
I also really love a bodycon dress like this one as a base for a Soft Classic outfit:
For an edgier look, this fit and flare leather dress is flattering on Soft Classic types because it has the flared skirt and defined waist:
To channel some of Effy’s more glam, series 4 looks, you could try dresses like the ones below. The sequins on the dress on the left provide some ornate detailing and sparkle, which is super flattering on Soft Classics, while the right has a mesh, which provides some edginess. For all of these, adding a big leather belt could help to provide more waist definition:
Small details like on this dress are great for a Soft Classic look:
I also really love this dress for an edgy Soft Classic look, since the defined, ruffled shoulders can read as edgy but without overwhelming a Soft Classic body.
A lightweight, flowing silk dress like this one (but in black) with a thick leather belt is a super flattering choice for Soft Classics, and can easily be made edgy with the right accessories:
For sweaters and shirts, look for options that are soft and smooth, short to moderate in lengths. Lightweight knits, cashmere, angora, and silk are all great fabrics. Avoid oversized or bulky tops, perky patterns, and thin ribbing.
Like with the dresses, I love a sheer or mesh top for an edgy Soft Classic look. They’re sexy and flattering and totally channel Effy’s series 4 looks:
I also love a velvet top option for this type, since it’s soft, smooth, and touchable, but can still be edgy:
Tops in lightweight fabrics like these are great for Soft Classics- for an “Effier” look, just look for the fabrics in black:
A ruffle neckline is also super flattering, and channels some of Effy’s more feminine looks:
For pants, look for softly tailored styles in lightweight fabrics. Soft pleats, tapered legs, and cropped hemlines are great for Soft Classics. Straight leg pants are your best friend. Man-tailored pants, deep pleats, or oversized/baggy pants aren’t as flattering on this type.
A small plaid can look really edgy on Soft Classics:
Of course, straight leg jeans are also great on this type:
For skirts, look for a-lines. This is great because when Effy wears skirts, typically that’s the cut they have. Leather is of course a great option, and if you can find one with some pleating, that will look super flattering.
For something super edgy, this kind of skirt would look great on a Soft Classic:
For hair, Soft Classics should go for looks that are controlled, smooth, and soft, with clean, symmetrical outlines. Curls and waves are great. Moderate to long will be the most flattering, with layers framing the face. The curly look Effy sometimes wears would be great for this type.
For makeup, opt for minimalistic looks. Anything too heavy will be overpowering on a Soft Classic’s delicate features. A soft, smokey eye is great for this type. Makeup looks should be rounded, accurate, and very blended. A glossy lip looks great on this type.
For shoes, look for delicate, tapered shapes and avoid chunky styles. You might think that these shoes look too delicate or simple for Effy’s look, but on a Soft Classic they’ll look edgier than they would on a more angular type, and heavier shoes might look out of place on you.
I’m back with another Kibbe body type post! If you missed the beginning of this series, you can find out what your type is here. Today we’re focusing on Romantics for the Romantic anon who was excited to see more of this series! This one was a challenge, because Romantics are 100% feminine in their body type and style. While Effy has more of a mix of the masculine and feminine, Romantic types look best when the feminine is emphasized. That said, you can still totally get an edgy, Effy inspired look with this body type, and there’s even an outfit that Effy wears that would suit Romantics really well. More under the cut. Let me know what you think!
Romantics are small, soft, and curvy, with an hourglass figure, delicate bones, and rounded facial features. Examples of this type include Marilyn Monroe, Emilia Clarke, Leighton Meester, Amanda Seyfried, Christina Ricci, Christina Milan, Beyonce, Drew Barrymore, Kate Winslet, and Holliday Grainger.
In general, Romantics should look for rounded shapes with soft edges, waist emphasis to maintain the hourglass figure, draping, soft and flowy silhouettes, oversized bows, ruffles, and lace, soft, draped necklines, and pieces that are tapered at the wrist, waist, and ankle.
Starting with dresses, Romantics should look for ones that are feminine and flowing, with waist emphasis, ornate details, soft prints, and rounded details. Lightweight fabrics look great on this type. The popular Reformation type dress looks amazing on Romantic types:
For everyday dresses, these two below are great for a Romantic type because of the waist definition, ruffles, lightweight fabrics, and flowy feel. With stacked necklaces or bracelets, a dark eye, and some boots, these dresses can easily go from feminine to grunge:
Below is another great look for a Romantic type. Again, with edgy accessories it can go from feeling feminine to feeling edgy very quickly:
For a more dressy event, something like the dress below would look amazing. Its waist definition and flowy skirt make it distinctly Romantic, but the floral pattern feels edgy, especially with the ombre effect at the bottom:
For an edgier way to get a defined waist, go for a belt like this one:
For sweaters and shirts, cowlnecks, lace peplum tops, gathers and ruching are details to look out for. For sweaters in particular, look for soft, fluffy knits, sweaters that are draped, and plush knits. For an edgier Romantic style, I would suggest learning into black lace.
A black lace peplum top is a great option for Romantic types. Pair with leather leggings for an edgier look:
Ruffled sleeves also look great on Romantic types. Effy’s dress in 301 has the right idea:
If you want a sheer element to your look, a top like this, a fitted crop with a scoop neck that’s tapered at the wrists, would work really well with some high waisted pants:
Ruched tops are a great option for Romantics as well:
Cowl necks are also an amazing look on this type. Think Effy in Katie’s series 4 episode for inspiration:
In terms of sweaters, this soft, fluffy knit would be a great way to channel Effy’s fur coat that she wears in the opening credits:
If you want to channel her 308 outfit, a ripped cowlneck sweater like this one gives off the same vibe with a more romantic shape. Just make sure to emphasize the waist:
For pants, soft, draped pants that showcase curves is the way to go. Gathers at the waist and a tapered bottom will help to emphasize your hourglass shape. High waisted pants are a Romantic’s best friend. Skinny jeans, mom jeans, and skinny leather pants/leather leggings are all great options for this type.
You can see here how the paperbag trouser can be turned into something edgier. Without the jacket, this is a really great Romantic look. The neckline of the top is low and the top has subtle ruching detail, and the paperbag pants emphasize the waist and taper at the bottom:
You could also go for a plaid pattern like these, again to give it more of an edgy feel:
I like the below image because it shows how nice a cropped sweater and fitted pants can look. Go for a cropped black sweater and black trousers, and immediately it has more of an edgy vibe:
The two images below show more romantic tops paired with mom jeans:
But you could easily take an edgier top and pair with black or grey mom jeans for a look that feels less feminine.
Again, looking back on Effy’s look in 404, leather leggings or leather pants are a great way to add edge to an outfit that still complements the Romantic‘s hourglass figure. A look like Kendall Jenner’s outfit below would actually be great for a romantic, either with those pants or a skinnier version:
For hair and makeup, Romantics benefit from glamorous hair that’s soft, stylized, and wispy, with face framing layers and curls. The makeup that looks best is light, with shimmer, pearl, pencil liner, and long, wispy lashes. That may sound incompatible with an Effy look, but it can definitely work. First, hair:
This kind of wispy, curly hair looks great on Romantics:
Effy does a similar look in episode 2 of series 4:
For makeup, here are some examples of a darker look that isn’t too heavy for a Romantic face. A small wing or subtle grey smoky eye can go a long way, especially if you line the eye on the inside. With a neutral-pink lip, glowy cheeks, and wispy lashes, it gives the same sort of effect as Effy’s heavy makeup does:
You can see in this picture that Christina Ricci looks a little bit too made up with the combination of dark eyeliner and a dark lip:
And in this picture, you can see how an actual smoky eye overwhelms Leighton Meester’s delicate face:
Some random other bits: I love the coat below for a Romantic Effy style. The worn in velvet feels punk, as do the baroque details, but it’s fitted and cropped so it will show off the waist:
For shoes, go for lightweight, supple leather boots. They’re not quite as heavy as a combat boot or Doc Marten would be, but they’ll give that same feel:
Hi guys! This is the first post in my “Effy’s Style for Different Body Types” series. I’m starting with Soft Gamines for the Soft Gamine anon who said she was excited for this series. Soft Gamines are petite, soft, and curvy, with small but angular bones and a doll-like face. Jenna Louise Coleman and Lucy Hale are two great examples of this type. A quick shortcut for an Effyish Soft Gamine look is to ask yourself, “would Aria from Pretty Little Liars wear this?” If the answer is yes, you’re most of the way there. Under the cut, I’m going to talk about different types of clothes that suit your body type, what pieces to look for that are Effy inspired, and how to make Effy-inspired outfits for the Soft Gamine type. Let me know if this is helpful or if there’s anything you think needs to be added!
In general, you should look for clothes that are crisp, color blocked, and that have waist emphasis. Contrast color belts and Peter Pan collars look great on this body type. Soft Gamines look best when clothes are fitted at the joints (i.e. wrists, knees, ankles, shoulders) and are looser in between, following the same contrast between roundedness and angularity that’s present in their body type. Effy’s style often blends softer pieces with edgier ones, and for a Soft Gamine “Effy” look, that’s very important.
For dresses (and jumpsuits), look for pieces that are shaped at the waist, with crisp neckline and cuffs. Intricate, fun details, flouncy skirts, asymmetrical hemlines, and rounded collars work great for Soft Gamines. Pieces like these are ones to keep an eye out for:
This dress is great because of the small, fun details, high neckline, flouncy skirt, and leather belt/over-the-knee sock combo which provides an edgy feel to the outfit.
This dress is edgy within itself, but it will work for the Soft Gamine type because of the high neckline, defined waist, and asymmetrical hem.
This dress works because of the high neckline and flouncy, pleated skirt. The combination of leather and lace adds an edgy feel.
Peter Pan collars work great for a Soft Gamine. Pair with over the knee socks:
Or go for a more edgy Peter Pan collar dress, like these:
Dresses over a shirt also work really nicely for this type. Here’s the Peter Pan collar again, but this time combined with a schoolgirl inspired jumper:
In this one, we have a textured (I think corduroy?) jumper and a thick sweater. The sweater is great because it’s tight at the neck and wrists, but relaxed throughout the rest of it. In general, fluffy sweaters or sweaters with a deep pile (like the one below) look great. The waist is slightly defined, which helps as well.
Again in this one, the tight neckline and tight arms combined with the waist definition makes for a really nice, Soft Gamine look, without sacrificing the grungey feel.
Velvet suits like the one Jenna Louise Coleman is wearing below are also great for a Soft Gamine type:
Dresses that Effy has worn that would work for your look are:
For this one, with a higher neckline and a tighter waist, it would be perfect for a Soft Gamine look. As it is, it’s already pretty good- the tight arms, detailed shoulders, and skirt shape are great for Soft Gamine types.
For this one, the waist definition, flouncy skirt, and high/tight neckline and arms are perfect for Soft Gamines. It even looks a little bit off on Effy since it’s not her type.
TIPS: Over the knee socks or fishnets, leather or lace detailing, mesh, and contrasting femininity with masculinity will help to make these dresses feel edgy and like an “Effy” look. Adding a leather jacket and some fishnets is an easy way to make a very feminine, girly, Peter Pan collar dress feel much edgier and grungy.
For tops and sweaters, look for pieces that are fitted, especially at the waist and cuff. Small, crisp collars, like a Peter Pan collar, are great for Soft Gamine types. Ribbed trim, appliques, and small, animated patterns look great on this type. Details around the shoulder area look really nice. Turtlenecks are great for this type. Like I mentioned above, fluffy sweaters and sweaters with a deep pile are very flattering on this type. Long, oversized sweaters, rough, bulky knits, and symmetrical cardigans are generally pieces for this type to avoid.
Fluffy sweater with a deep pile, high neck, and ribbed, fitted wrists and neck:
High neckline with puffed shoulders:
Fluffy sweater like the one Effy wears in the series 4 opening titles:
High neck, ribbed detailing, tight at the wrists:
Sheer or mesh tops are a great way to add edge to a look, and complement the Soft Gamine body type.
Like I talked about before, Peter Pan collars are great, especially with some sheer details and a lush fabric like velvet.
Shoulder detailing can look really great, especially with a small pattern and sheer elements:
Pants and Skirts
For pants, look for ones that are shapely and that showcase the ankle. Cropped pants of all kinds will look good on you. Paperbag trousers also work. Skinny jeans are perfect on this type. Go for high waisted pairs, as they’ll help to give that waist definition that’s important for the Soft Gamine type. Wide legged pants are not the best on this type. For skirts, anything that emphasizes the waist is a good idea. “Schoolgirl” type skirts with pleats are great.
High waisted, “shapely” trousers:
Striped pants like the ones Effy wears in series 2 are a great option for this type:
Skinny jeans, ripped or not, are great, especially with a belt:
Looser fitting “mom jeans” can also work:
Note: A lot of the girls in these pictures are wearing Vans or similar looking sneakers. I think those are really great for this type; they can be a little grungy but they’re not too heavy or clunky for the Soft Gamine’s more delicate frame.
Hair and Makeup
Soft Gamines look best with soft, short, tousled hair with layers. Messy buns are great for this type. Matte makeup looks are great on this body type. Dark, smokey eyes and matte lips suit this type nicely. This is pretty much what Effy does already, so there’s not a lot to change or adapt for her look.
Smoky eye/matte lip examples:
Tousled hair examples:
Tousled hair, matte lips:
Dark, smoky eye with matte lips:
Tousled hair and smoky eye:
Tousled messy bun:
Smoky eye and matte red lip (a darker plum would also look great).
Hi everyone! This has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’m excited that I’m finally getting around to it! One of the questions I get asked most frequently with regard to Effy’s style is “how do I wear Effy’s style if I’m petite/plus size/hourglass shape/ruler shape/have big hips/have big boobs/etc”. I’ve always said that I think this style can be adapted to suit everyone, and so in this series I’m going to try and show how to do that.
The system I’m going to use in this series is a modified version of the Kibbe body type system. I like the Kibbe system because it taps into how it’s not just your hips-waist-bust that plays into how you look, but also how tall/short you are, how long your limbs are, what your facial features look like, and everything else that makes you look like you. I also think it’s really great because it highlights how many different types of beauty there are, and doesn’t make one type the “goal” the way other body type systems often do. The idea is to lean into the things that make you unique instead of trying to hide perceived flaws, which I really love.
I used to spend a lot of time wondering why girls with my same measurements looked so different in clothes from me, and this system helped me understand why that is. I know the Kibbe system has sort of fallen out of favor on the internet because it’s overly prescriptive and Kibbe uses weird words to describe things, but I’m going to do my best to edit that weirdness out. I don’t think this is a perfect system by any means, but I do think it’s a good starting place for the point I’m trying to illustrate.
So first things first! Below the cut is the test to determine which type you are. I’m borrowing some of the language from this website. It’s best if you do this while looking in a mirror. Keep a tally of how many of each letter you get.
Overall Bone Structure.
1. How long is your vertical line?
Basically, how tall do you look? Some people look shorter than they are and some people look taller.
My vertical line is:
A) Long (I look taller than I actually am)
B) Moderately long (I look like I’m slightly taller than I actually am, but not by very much)
C) Moderate (I look to be my actual height)
D) Smallish (I look slightly shorter than my actual height)
E) Petite (I look shorter than I actually am)
2. What’s the shape of your shoulders?
Try to have good posture when you answer this question- slouching can change the way your shoulders look.
My shoulders are:
A) Sharp, narrow
B) Blunt, broad
C) Moderate, even
D) Sloped, tapered (can be a bit sharp, but still sloped)
E) Sloped, rounded
3. How long do your arms and legs look in comparison to your body?
This question is about proportion. Even if you’re tall, you can have short arms and legs and if you’re short, you can have long arms and legs compared to your body. If you’re not sure how to check this, just put your arms to the sides of your body, and see how far down your thigh your fingertips end. Answer C will end at about the halfway length of your thighs, so if you have shorter arms, you’re answer E or D, if you have longer arms, you’re answer A or B. Make sure to relax your arms while doing this, as stretching them out will make them seem longer than they are.
My arms and legs are:
A) Elongated, narrow
B) Elongated, broad
C) Moderate, even in proportion to my height and torso
D) Small, slightly short
E) Small, very short in proportion to my height and torso
4. What are the size and shape of your hands and feet in comparison to the rest of your body?
My hands and feet are:
A) Long, narrow
B) Large, broad
C) Moderate, neither very large nor very small
D) Small, narrow, delicate
E) Small, slightly wide
Flesh on the Body.
It should be noted that this section isn’t about body fat- it’s about the overall look of your skin and muscles. Some people will have full cheeks even when underweight, and other people have very prominent cheekbones even at a high weight. “Flesh” is a weird word and I don’t love it, but it’s the most accurate word I can think of to describe what this section is focused on.
5. What’s the overall shape of your body?
This question takes into account both how your torso, waist, and hips look, and also the general look of your arms and legs. We’ll be getting into some specifics soon though, so if you’re confused by this question, try returning to it after doing the next few questions.
The overall shape of my body is:
A) Long, lean
B) Broad, tending toward muscular
C) Moderate, even
D) Shapely, a delicate hourglass
E) Very soft, curved, a full hourglass
6. What’s the shape of your bust line, or upper torso?
This question is about the shape of your bust and isn’t asking about cup/band size.
The overall shape of my bust line is:
A) Flat, taut (I never seem to add flesh here, even when overweight)
B) Wide, broad (I add a little flesh here when overweight, but not very much)
C) Moderate, in even proportion to my waist and hips
D) Shapely, curved, more prominent then my waistline (I tend to add flesh here when overweight)
E) Very prominent (whether I’m thin or heavy, I’m always busty)
7. What’s the shape of your waistline?
This question is in proportion to the bust and hips.
The overall shape of my waistline is:
A) Elongated, but boyishly tapered (even when overweight)
B) Elongated, but broad
C) Moderate, slightly defined
D) Very small in proportion to my bust and hips
E) Softly defined, but tends to be slightly wide
8. What’s the overall shape of your hips?
Again, this question is in proportion to the rest of your body.
The overall shape of my hips is:
A) Tapered, straight, narrow (but I do thicken here when overweight)
B) Straight, slightly tapered, and slightly wide (weight collects on the hips)
C) Moderate, in even proportion to my bust and waist
D) Shapely and rounded, more pronounced then my waistline
E) Extremely soft and rounded (whatever my weight is)
9. What best describes the look of your upper arms and thighs?
One good way to test this is to feel your upper arms and thighs. For people with D/E answers about their upper arms and thighs, that area will feel soft even if they’re thin or strong.
The look/feel of my upper arms and thighs is:
A) Long, slender, sinewy
B) Elongated, tending towards muscular
C) Moderate
D) Soft, slightly short
E) Very soft, slightly wide and fleshy
Facial Features.
It’s best to do this section without makeup, as makeup changes how your face naturally looks.
10. What’s the shape of your jawline?
My jawline is:
A) Sharp, either very pointed or very square
B) Broad, blunt, slightly wide
C) Moderate, neither wide, sharp, nor rounded
D) Delicate, tapered, or slightly narrow
E) Rounded or softly wide
11. What’s the shape of your nose?
In the picture below, it may be a bit difficult to see the difference between the B option and the E option. That’s because the difference is in the bridge of the nose. B noses that broad and wide bridges, E noses have smaller and rounder bridges.
My nose is:
A) Sharp or prominent
B) Broad or blunt, on the large side
C) Moderate (not very large or small, not very rounded or sharp)
D) Delicate, tapered, narrow
E) Rounded or softly wide
12. What’s the shape of your cheekbones?
You made need to feel your cheekbones to get an accurate idea of which type is yours.
My cheekbones are:
A) High and prominent
B) Wide
C) Moderate
D) Delicate, narrow, and slightly rounded
E) Rounded
13. What’s the shape of your eyes?
My eyes are:
A) Narrow, straight, closely spaced
B) Narrow, straight, widely spaced
C) Evenly spaced, moderately sized
D) Rounded or upturned, slightly close together
E) Very round and very large
14. What’s the shape of your lips?
My lips are:
A) Straight, narrow (possibly described as thin lips)
B) Straight, strong, broad (but not full)
C) Moderate, even (not very straight, but not very full)
D) Slightly full and rounded
E) Very full and very rounded
15. What best describes the skin/muscle on your cheekbones?
My cheeks are:
A) Flat and taut (and tend to stay tight when overweight)
B) Fairly tight or muscular, but I tend to get a bit puffy when I put on weight
C) Moderate, slightly soft
D) Soft (gets very full with excess weight)
E) Very round (stays round even when thin or underweight)
The Results
Romantics:
If you got mostly E answers, you’re a pure romantic. Your bone structure, flesh, and facial features are all soft, small, rounded, and are on the soft side of the spectrum. Examples of this type include Marilyn Monroe, Emilia Clarke, Leighton Meester, Amanda Seyfried, Christina Ricci, Christina Milan, Beyonce, Drew Barrymore, Kate Winslet, and Holliday Grainger.
If you got mostly D answers, you’re a theatrical romantic. Your bone structure, flesh, and facial features aren’t as soft and rounded as a pure romantic’s, but you’re still on the soft side of the spectrum.
If most of your answers are a E or D, with a few A answers, then you are also a theatrical romantic. Your bone structure, flesh, and facial features are mostly soft and rounded, but you have a few sharp features, probably in your bone structure or facial features. Examples of this type include Rihanna, Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Judd, Sarah Gadon, Elizabeth Banks, Christina Aguilera, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kylie Minogue, Sherilyn Fenn, Mila Kunis, Rachel McAdams, Selma Hayek, and Rachel Bilson.
Dramatics:
If you got mostly A answers, you’re a pure dramatic. Your bone structure, flesh, and facial features, are long, lean, and sharp. Examples of this type include Elizabeth Debicki, Ruby Rose, Taylor Swift, Linda Evangelista, Alessandra Ambrosio, Mila Jovovich, Michelle Dockery, Tilda Swinton, Yasmin Sevell, Cate Blanchett, Fei Fei Sun, Amal Clooney, and Keira Knightley.
If you got mostly A answers, with a few E or D answers, then you are soft dramatic. Your bone structure, and most of your flesh or facial features are sharp, but you have some softness in your flesh or facial features. Examples of this type include Sophia Loren, Uma Thurman, Sonam Kapoor, Rachel Weisz, Gina Torres, Barbara Streisand, Sofia Vergara, Monica Bellucci, Tyra Banks, Christina Hendricks, Madalina Ghenea, and Morena Baccarin.
Classics:
If you got mostly C answers, then you’re a pure classic. Your bone structure, flesh, and facial features are neither sharp nor rounded, neither short nor long. You’re in the middle of the spectrum of softness and sharpness. Examples of this type include Grace Kelly, January Jones, Diane Sawyer, and Catherine Deneuve. This is one of the rarest types because very few people are completely symmetrical and balanced, which is why there are fewer examples here.
If most of your answers were C, with a few A or B answers, then you are dramatic classic. Your flesh and facial features are probably C dominant, but you have some sharpness in your bone structure. Examples of this type include Diane Kruger, Sienna Miller, Nina Dobrev, Zoe Saldana, Olivia Munn, Olivia Wilde, Olivia Palermo, Maria Shriver, Courteney Cox, Whitney Houston, Megan Fox, and Demi Moore (and me!).
If you got mostly C answers, with a few D or E answers, then you are soft classic. Your bone structure is probably C dominant, but you have a bit of softness in your flesh and facial features. Examples include Naomi Watts, Saoirse Ronan, Jessica Chastain, Dita Von Tease, Marion Cotillard, Emma Thompson, Dakota Johnson, and Emily Blunt.
Naturals:
If you got mostly B answers, then you’re a pure natural. Your bone structure, flesh, and facial features are elongated, broad, and blunt. Your body is sharp, but not as much as a dramatic. Examples of this type include Jennifer Aniston, Lindsay Lohan, Ali MacGraw, Priyanka Chopra, Selena Gomez, and Lana Del Rey.
If you got mostly B answers, with some A answers, then you are flamboyant natural. Your flesh and facial features are probably broad and blunt, tending towards looking muscular, but your bone structure is long and lean. Examples of this type include Julia Roberts, Rosie Huntington-Whitley, Janice Dickenson, Brigette Nielsen, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, Candice Swanepoel, Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Cameron Diaz, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Lawrence, and Brooke Shields.
If most of your answers were B, with some D or E answers, then you are soft natural. Your flesh and facial features tend towards the soft side of the spectrum, but your bone structure is broad, blunt, and elongated. Examples of this type include Chrissy Teigen, Kim Basinger, Pamela Anderson, Britney Spears, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Carey Mulligan, Elizabeth Olsen, Julianne Hough, Margo Robbie, Kaley Cuoco, Kat Dennings, Laetita Casta, Renee Zellweger, Helen Mirren, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry, and Kate Upton.
Gamines:
If you got an even mixture of A/B answers and D/E answers, in a seemingly random order, you are a gamine. You can’t really pinpoint whether your overall bone structure, flesh, and facial features are soft or sharp, since each feature is a different answer. Examples of this type are Audrey Tautou, Michelle Williams, Eva Longoria, Miroslava Duma, Heather Locklear, Jean Seberg, and Geraldine Chaplin.
If you got a combination of A/B answers and D/E answers, with slightly more A or B answers, then you are a flamboyant gamine. Your individual features are either sharp or soft features, but in general you have a bit more angularity to your body. Examples of this type include Lady Gaga, Mylene Farmer, Liza Minnelli, Tina Turner, Edie Sedgwick, Lea Michele, Vanessa Paradis, Lily Rose Depp, Zooey Deschanel, Amy Winehouse, Emma Roberts, Kate Bosworth, Coco Chanel, Penelope Cruz, Audrey Hepburn, and Twiggy.
If you got a combination of A/B answers and D/E answers, with slightly more D or E answers, then you are a soft gamine. Your individual features fall on either side of the soft or sharp spectrum, but in general you have a bit more softness or roundness to your body, probably in your flesh. Examples of this type include Dakota fanning, Vanessa Hudgens, Maisie Williams, AnnaSophia Robb, Sarah Hyland, Lucy Hale, Cyndi Lauper, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Eartha Kitt, Reese Witherspoon, Hayden Panettiere, and Jenna Louise Coleman.
