Okay, I really feel like Maya should have known not to trust Vince (like, in general) because her older sister was there when Vince was arrested? I mean she must have heard his name at least once. I don’t believe that they didn’t at least talk about it. Continuity, Degrassi writers?

Maybe I'm speaking from an irrational place but if the writers were going to disrespect all the history of eclare and turn Eli into this dick on Eclare's last leg of Degrassi....then they should've just ended this shit ages ago and let us move on. This business of trying to make us hate Eclare and destroy the ship (and that's what this bullshit has basically come down to) has been mean, ridiculous and unnecessary.

Honestly, NO APOLOGY FOR THAT FUCKING BEHAVIOUR? And we're supposed to be okay with it? Why are the writers insisting on fucking with us?  This is not okay.

OKAY so let me get this straight.

Eli's fucking behaviour apparently isn't even an issue. The writers thought if they had him show interest in being a father, everything else could be glossed over and everything would be okay.

It actually could've been the case, except for NOOOOOO.

like, we all know Eclare is gonna be endgame (and yeah i still want them to be)

but how are they going to fix the damage

b/c even the biggest Eclare fan (like me) cannot see right now how on earth eclare can come back from this!!!

I want. NO, I NEED an explanation but I know i'll never get it from these writers

i hate new writers. they didn't know the characters so they thought they had free reign to do whatever they wanted and not think it would be upsetting to fans that have been fans of certain characters/couples for YEARS! they threw two very amazing couples away for NOTHING!!! AND ruined the integrity of a GREAT character all just for one scene of them having sex AND getting caught and not even getting together after ALL OF THAT!. not to mention that casual sex IS NOT WHAT CLARE EDWARDS IS ABOUT!  HOW COULD THE WRITERS FORGET THAT DETAIL! 

they also destroyed what could have been, and was actually on its way to being a great friendship between clew.
