Meet Colpomenia peregrina, a species of brown seaweed sometimes refered to by its vernacular name, Oyster Thief. Why that name? It likes to use its filaments to grab onto a support, sometimes an oyster, during low tide to stay in place. When the sea rises, it floats up and carry the oyster away.

Imagine being an oyster raiser and having your oysters stolen away by an alga. Queen behaviour.

Tuomas said some song on EFMB was about a duel between the Devil and Mother Gaia. If anyone remembers what song that was, feel free to tell me, please? I can’t find the interview it was in :<

First things first. I know nothing about singing. Absolutely nothing. That being said, why is everyone claiming that Floor should’ve used her “operatic voice” more on EFMB? I mean, the album is what an hour long? Who can or even wants to listen to someone belting their lungs out for over 60 minutes straight? I’m glad Tuomas made her sing smally. There’s some very intense, touching and intimate moments on that album, that I love, and would’ve been completely ruined if sung differently.
