Me out here making the really important observations:
When Guybrush first (in terms of game release order) sports an earring in Curse, it's clearly pierced through the lower lobe of the ear, the most common spot:
That was retconned into the SEs of both Secret and Revenge in the same position:
(I suppose we could argue that with no closeups in Revenge, he could possibly have had one in the original because it would have been basically impossible to see anyway; but in Secret, besides the visual evidence to the contrary, I feel like of course lil' naive wannabe Guybrush wouldn't have one yet! Unless it's a clip-on 😆 But I digress...)
Anyway, post-Curse, he lacks it in Escape...
...so I guess maybe he took it out, and perhaps the hole closed. (Shh, nobody tell me it's because it would have added more complexity to his 3D texture and they were already pushing their limits.)
In any case he's not still wearing one in the same place by the time of Tales. But given where they are placed, I think it's quite possible that they are cartilage piercings:
And boy, do those suckers hurt!
...I don't have a real point here, it just occured to me as I was scrolling past a "daily screenshot" Bluesky post that clearly showed the left two earrings.
So hang on: LeChuck named a restaurant/concession stand at the carnival after Largo?
For @threeadventurers, which has hit the big 1-0!
I think you really wanted art, but I can't draw, and I couldn't figure out something to write around what you have already written... so I hope you enjoy this lovingly handcrafted shitpost instead.
Just taking the raft out for a spin...

The magnetic puzzle was included with the "Signature Edition" of the game that could be pre-ordered from the LucasArts Company Store.
The "grog" is actually ale brewed by Butte Creek Brewing Company in Chico, California.
