@Regrann from @efniksdotcom - 49 years ago today, the man who was viewed unfavorably by 2/3 of white Americans and is now used as a weapon against Black America was gunned down by white supremacy despite his peaceful protests, non-violent tactics, and goals of an inclusive America that lived up to its lofty ideals of freedom and equality. An America that twice elected a Black President is not a race-blind and post-racial society when its response to that Black President is to elect white supremacy to unified government in Washington. We know we have more work to do when it comes to bending that arc of the moral Universe. But we will put in that work.
