This is my kind of April morning 🌫📐 #EFwalks (at Dallas Arts District)
While I don't agree with 75-degree weather in January, I'm not about to complain about it. #EFwalks
Obligatory tradition. #EFwalks (at Neiman Marcus)

Hundreds of people have asked me-- okay, not hundreds, but like THREE people have asked me about the photos I take on my walks. Do I go out looking to capture something specific? Are they aimless? Well, here's the process (almost every time): I walk outside, decide and then immediately change my mind about which area to explore. I begin to get excited about all the cool and interesting things I'm bound to see. But after about 20 minutes without anything good, I put my phone in my pocket and just enjoy the walk. Shortly thereafter, without fail, I finally encounter a moment that I never could have conceived in my head, reinforcing the old adage that you can't plan your life, you just have to live it... Reading all this back to myself, it sounds super duper pretentious, but I just had to fill the void in the hearts of those HUNDREDS of people who wanted, nay, NEEDED to know. #EFwalks

And another... Sans rant. #EFwalks (at 🎧 "Sound & Color" (Alabama Shakes))
Between the New Orleans trip, hosting NY family, and dogsitting, I've been doing a ton of walking, but I haven't been able to go on one of my #EFwalks lately. Like everyone and their mother (or FATHER in this case), I ventured to the Pedestrian Bridge to admire Mother Nature's work. MINI RANT: Dallas, we've got to do better connecting downtown to our PEDESTRIAN bridge. I am well aware of the #ConnectedCityDesign competition and results, but in the interim, can we at least get a clear sidewalk that connects us? So great (but so disheartening) to see dozens of people (but with their cars) out by the bridge. (at Continental Avenue Bridge)
