Feminism =/= Equality

For the billionth time, FEMINISM IS ABOUT GENDER EQUALITY. ... God forbid anyone makes or does anything that some people might think to be feminism, and all hell has to break loose!

For the bajillionth time- no. That is what it used to be about back in the suffragette days (well, mostly. The greater proportion back then were genuinely interested in equality and independence, but the leaders of feminism have always been psychos). Now it is about female supremacy and, honestly, it needs to be packed away on the shelf like all outdated things. Feminism is about women, and you can't honestly expect me to believe otherwise when they can't even manage the tiniest bit of humility, to set an example, live up to their "claims" of equality and change to a gender neutral name. I mean, of all the simple ways to really prove they are genuine, and they can't even be fucked, and just make bullshit excuses about women needing to "catch up" to men and bla bla patriarchy myth lies. None of this, even if it were true (which it's not) matters because what feminists conveniently forget is that if something has an emphasis or preference for one 'subset' of human over another, it is instantly NOT equality, but preferential treatment, and preferential treatment for ANY reason is not fucking equality. That is not what "equality" is or means. Feminism constantly shows preferential treatment towards women, and even negative or outright hostile treatment to multiple groups of people including men, children of both genders, transgender men, transgender women, women who choose not to work, women who choose to raise children instead of working, women who choose to financially support a non-working man. This. Is. Not. Equality. Feminism is NOT about equality. Stop spreading lies and propagating a sexist and supremacist movement. Egalitarianism is about true equality, look it up.

Sexist Female Spiderman

Spider man's abs and groin are the focus of the image while spider woman's breasts and hips are the prime focus. its not the same pose because the artist is going about focusing passively on sexual assets of the characters. A man and such will have abs and groin shots a woman mostly breasts and butts.

No. I mean, yes, technically, but no, because they do kind of have to make it make sense for the character. That's why people are losing their shit because Spiderwoman looks like a sex-superhero rather than a nerdy female photographer that got bit by a radioactive spider. I am not even going into what I am afraid is Venom back there. *shudder* Also, as a personal preference thing, what did they do to her costume? It looks like shit. Triangles? What's the point of those webs, or the gold except to draw focus back to her genitals? Intentionally provocative or not, it's just a bad design. Hell, Deadpool resembles Spiderman more and he was made as a spoof... In the second set of pictures, you might be able to claim that pose thing if she were a different superhero. One who flies or floats. She looks like she's flying.. If she is a female spiderman then why is she flying? That is not the pose you take if you plan on colliding with a building soon, you would smash your face and worse. That is not a holding-onto-web-and-flying-through-the-air pose either. I mean, seriously? She looks like Storm. Google Storm. That looks like a flying/floaty-power pose, there should be lightning or something in the image for that pose to make sense. She does not have that kind of power if she is a female Spiderman. Alternately, and possibly worse- in light of the of the webbing background, she may be supposed to be laying down. There is literally NO Earthly reason that Spidey would lay down like that, male or female, the character's personality is NOT like that. Now for the first set... *Exhale* Phhheewwww.... Ok, seriously what in hell, you're really going to try and claim this isn't just blatant fanservice? Spidey is crouched as he is because he needs to maintain hand and foot contact with the surface he's hanging off of- this is kind of part of being Spiderman. The web changes, the suit changes, hell his love interest changes- but this crouch is constant. But what in hell is Spiderwoman doing over there? Propositioning a passing bird, plane or Superman? She's on top of a building, she isn't crawling over the edge, she's firmly on top- she could stand and instead she's in a position that, honestly, I am wondering if they didn't use a porn shot as reference for. Seriously, "focusing passively"? PASSIVELY, are you kidding? I'm GAY and I'm picking up signals from that one and the only thing passive her position. Her body is perfect. Her hair is gorgeous and flowing- a female Spiderman should have limp, lifeless hair, probably in a ponytail or a home-haircut, she should be average height, not supermodel height, she should have weight on her body, and small boobs or something. She needs to be visually flawed, shy and awkward and none of these things should stop her from being awesome.  The ENTIRE point, and major focus of the Spiderman character's design AND popularity is that he is a gangly (compared to other supers and, average men of the day), socially awkward, not-conventionally-attractive, nerd who uses his experiences with being the underdog in life (as well as the death of his uncle) as the emotional fuel he needs to be brave, fight crime and show that ANYONE can become great and do great things. This is direct rom Stan Lee, it is what he said was his intent when he created Spiderman. If Spiderman got turned from a nerd into a sexpot rather than just getting a sex change then that is sexist as fuck and there's no point trying to deny it.

How about we treat everyone equal?

I'm sorry, but if you want everyone to be equal, you are NOT a feminist. If you wanted to belong to any sort of club or movement based on your beliefs of everyone being equal to one another, then the club/movement for you is Egalitarianism (which is not to say that you can't focus on women's rights, or gay rights, or trans rights, or men's rights, or PoC's rights, ect within the framework of Egalitarianism, you just can't dismiss or trample anyone else's rights or issues in order to see your focus group gains theirs).
