Chinese Egg Cake (鸡蛋糕)
Today's attempt was a steamed egg pichu cake! This recipe is straight out of the Pokemon Official Cookbook! It was an interesting recipe so today was a test as I knew it might not work. I don't have a proper steamer so I was worried it won't turn out. It also needd specific foil tins I couldn't find. Maybe if I find and use them they'll turn out better!
It's a very simple recipe and then cocoa powder is used for the ears. Which is a bit messy so just chocolate would be better. Jam on the cheeks! Probably need a brighter red jam for it. I used chocolate for the face!
I think it's great for a first attempt! Very cute I hope next time they'll be even better because I'm trying to make these for my friends going away party! Cute little pikachu!
