Egg Catcher Chick!

Well, here we have the start of Kirby's Adventure, with the only non-enemy character I can think of. And it's a funny little chicken! Kirby's Adventure was the first Kirby game to feature Sub-Games, little mini games that can be played in various contexts. In this game, you can find them on the world map, and they usually give you 1-Ups to help you on your main journey. Egg Catcher is one of these, a game where King Dedede throws a bunch of eggs into Kirby's mouth. Sounds normal. However, he also throws bombs in between the eggs, so you have to time Kirby opening his mouth to catch all the eggs, and none of the bombs. If you don't catch any bombs, Kirby will open his mouth, and a chick will pop out for each egg you caught! Sure, that kinda gives dark implications as to why no chicks pop out if you do catch any bombs, but if you don't want to think about that, just get good at the mini game silly! A very similar, but named, chick called Crack-Tweet would appear in another Kirby game quite soon, but we'll get to them.
