Which implies that the Vaporeon Copypasta is right, and a vaporeon is, in fact, fuckable (I doubt it’s the most fuckable, but the fact that it is at all pisses me off, because I don’t like that humans are in that Egg Group. We shouldn’t be in two Egg Groups!) (sure this came out like a decade or two before the Vaporeon Copypasta, but it’s an obscure and partially validates it)
The other is adding Gardevoir in the Human-Like Egg Group, when the species was originally only in the Amorphous Egg Group.
this isn’t a matter of “oh there used to only be space for one Egg Group but now there’s enough for two”; the only reason that gardevoir are fuckable is that people wanted to fuck them. This is just fanservice, pure and simple. It was really neat that it was in the Amorphous Egg Group! It showed that despite their prevos being humanoid, they are fundamentally Something Else.
Then they ruined it. Presumably this is due to the lack of waifu Pokemon in Galar, because Galar is terrible. I think that Hatterene is kind of waifu-shaped, so couldn’t they have put that in the Human-Like Egg Group instead? But no. They had to make Gardevoir fuckable.
