"Tangle & Whisper: New Roads" Issue #2 Part 3
After a small delay, Part 3 of "New Roads" is here!! We're starting to learn what happened to Sally & Nicole, and what is happening in the chaos of 3 different groups arriving around the same time.
A big thank you to those who let me borrow their characters: Honowyn, Floof, Rechi, Starly, and the Mt. Dew cat himself, Michael Kovach's Kovy Cat! It was surprising to hear back from him and receive free reign to work with Kovy in the story~!!
I do apologize if maybe the pacing is a bit fast here, as I'm trying to push into the action segments now, rather than bore with many pages of rambling dialog. (The first draft of #2 was full of it, before being HEAVILY cut down.) Since it can take about a month or more between releases, it makes it feel like the action segments take a while to get to, but I still need to establish the story first. I know there's a few things like "Why is Nicole like she is now? This only answers part of it?" or "Where is Bunnie?" or "What exactly are these people doing here besides working on this base?" or "Where is <other character>???"
Trust me, I hear you all, and I plan to address them as soon as I can. The delay I had back in the first half of this year really slowed down our schedule, and lately work has been very hectic for me. Now, though, we've at least fast-tracked to the action parts, and I'll try to address these questions as soon as I can!
