commission done! Back to Smellestine's commission! Embroidered fingerless mits
Spiderman scarf finished! For Pine's nephew, E!! Pine designed it p much and i helped by suggesting some color switches lol. Originally there was supposed to be spiderwebs but in the end it was just too much work. I painstakingly cut out that spider from felt and then glued it onto the scarf with peel and stick fabric fusion and it was ridiculously hard to do!! all those tiny legs.... peel and stick is sooo hard to work with but it does the best looking job - any other glue i had would've soaked thru the felt and looked so ugly. This looks really good and i'm quite proud of it. Made from Red Heart yarn in Red and Lion's Brand yarn in Colonial Blue. The black felt is from a felt sheet from Michaels. Made with an H-sized hook. I really hope E likes it! :D
Iron Man fingerless gloves! Crocheted with an I hook with Lion Brand yarn in Red and Mustard and Red Heart Soft in Turquoise. I started last Saturday so I did pretty good! For Pine. :3
By the way I got the pattern from: Louie's Loops
it's a free pattern so enjoy! Louie notes tho that he got the pattern idea from another crocheter but to be honest, i didn't like a lot of their pattern and i changed a bunch from louie's pattern, haha Everything seemed really small the first time i made these gloves, maybe he's got small hands. I also made the cuffs a bit longer by a stitch (louie called for 11 single stitches and i did 12) and i also made the cuff with 24 rows (louie called for 22?) and when i went around the end of the cuff with mustard to start the hand part, I did a half-double crochet instead of a single crochet because i felt like it didn't show enough of the mustard colour i made the hand part longer because i dont like a tiny glove that only covers part of the hand. At the end of the glove, louie called to do slip stitches to close it off but i felt like that looked really ugly imo I just finished it by skipping a stitch and doing a slip stitch and then tying it off it gives it a nice even look and not the weird curl i was achieving with louie's suggestion? Anyway that's what i did :p Im sure though if you follow louie's pattern, it'll still look really good!!

Hi y'all, well, Autumn is upon us and Winter approaches. That means... what time is it!? CROCHET TIME! Well, for me, anyway. With the Autumn and Winter months, work will be hilariously ridiculous ranging from painfully long in the Autumn thanks to all those leaves and painfully sparse in the Winter thanks to nothing growing. Which means, I'll be in need of money. Here's where you come in. I would actually like to reopen commissions for crocheted pieces. However, I'd dearly like to know if anyone is even interested. The fact that I kind of need to do this to continue being able to pay my bills and, you know, eat means i'd have to charge prices that may seem to be too much. But please remember that with any crocheted piece, I have to purchase supplies, shipping and each one takes a lot of my time. I am more than willing to give my time but it also needs to be worth my time. So do you think you'd be interested in say...
A sweet carrot scarf? Or maybe...
Some delicious bacon and egg scarf action? What about a nice striped scarf like here or here? Something solid with an interesting texture? Maybe gloves are more your fit (hah)
