it's so sad to me when people envision Sonic's torture in the Death Egg cell and only imagine Infinite getting any of the action

you think Eggman wouldn't be making as many visits as he can to taunt Sonic for his defeat, rub his victory and superiority in his face, give him updates on the complete and utter chaos he's causing the world below while he's locked up here with no way to stop it?

you think he wouldn't love to get his chance to finally physically rough him up now that the blue pest can't run away? you think he wouldn't want to psychologically fuck with him too, using the Phantom Ruby he'd been studying and working so hard on?

Infinite would simply be there to take care of things whenever Eggman was too busy terrorising the world below. they'd switch places, one gets to torment Sonic while the other gets to wipe out Resistance forces below.

but they can also be together in the same places at once as a tag team, the idea of a perfect date for two sadistic villains- whether it's destroying Sonic's spirit or destroying anyone in the world below who dares to try to stop them 🥰
