[mask pm] If you really are going to ruin Black Mask's day, give him a good gunshot wound to the shoulder from me, okay?
[mask pm] I didn't need your permission to do so. What'd the guy to do you?

eggplantbrown replied to your post“[pm] I really love the hat, Dami. And thanks for the textbooks, but...”
[pm] Thunder and I took out the boats and rounded up the escapees over there. I think the initial chaos is over, it's just containment at this point.
He was perfectly contained. I saw him-
[pm] I have not heard anything of note about any of the larger criminals, but the small, petty ones seem to be multiplying in my area.
eggplantbrown replied to your post:[pm] Oracle says we have to patrol buddy-system...
[pm] Ehhh…not the cave. Come by the Clocktower! You can check out the swanky new digs Babs’ got.
[pm] Alright. I'll meet you in the Clocktower then. ..But what are the "new digs" Barbara has?
[pm] Oracle says we have to patrol buddy-system style. Wanna be my buddy tonight?
[pm] Sure. Meet in the Cave?
eggplantbrown replied to your post:[pm] Did something happen with Jason? How am I...
[pm] You can pretty much assume I don’t know anything, all of the time.
[pm] Steph... I don't want to keep talking about it. All you have to know is that you should be careful with him. He's dangerous.
[pm] Did something happen with Jason? How am I supposed to be careful if nobody tells me what's going on around here?
[pm] It's kind of hard keeping track of who knows what.
Aggressively Dashing Through the Snow || Stephanie&Damian
Free. Damian was free at last. Free from that dreaded car ride, anyways. A ride which could have clearly been avoided, had Pennyworth not insisted on taking him, as he was going to Gotham Proper, anyways. (What the old man was going to do there was beyond Damian.) While he...appreciated the butler, his eyebrows seemed to be pasted a little way above his eyes, arched skeptically, or, possibly, knowingly. The expression made him wonder if his comings and goings were being regaled to his father. That'd be quite unpleasant. Nevertheless, he got himself to mumble a quiet Thank you (Spoken appreciation could do wonders, he'd come to learn) to the man as he hopped out of the car, waiting for it to go out of sight before he began the short walk from the highschool to the Youth Center Brown worked at, not wanting his exact destination to have been known by Pennyworth.
He trudged through the wind and snow, his hands pulling his jacket tighter to his body while he scowled at the wind, as if mere frustration would make it stop. (He'd vetoed wearing a coat; impromptu crime fighting would be easily slowed down with that big bulk swallowing his body.)
He came to a stop in front of the building, eyes taking it all in. It seemed...All right. Like someone cared about it, but just couldn't provide enough for it. (Then again, his perception of enough was a lot higher than that of most other's.) He could not say he was surprised Brown worked here, especially not after he pushed the door open, pulling his scarf down from over his nose and mouth at the rush of warm air that greeted him. (This warm air was nothing like that back at home. Stop. This was his home now. Why did that keep slipping his mind?)
It didn't take long for him to spot Brown, her mop of blond hair and enthusiasm easily distinguishable from the more reserved students filling the center. Steeling himself for diving into the crowd, Damian forced his lips into a perfect, well-intentioned smile, before striding over to where Batgirl stood, reaching out to grip her arm. "Stephanie." He said, voice over filled with enthusiasm. "I've been looking for you." Never mind the fact that he'd just walked in. He turned to look at the few teenagers giving them confused stares. "If you don't mind, I'm going to steal her away for a bit." The words felt foreign in his mouth, quite a feat for someone who know over three languages.
He pulled her along to a secluded corner, not bothering to wait for her response. "Brown." He started. He stopped. Just like that, the words caught in his throat, eyes narrowing in confusion as he lost track of what he was going to say. "I...Brown...You like Christmas." It wasn't a question; he didn't even need to do research for that. She seemed to be a Christmas liking person. (Where had his mental organization gone?)
"When does your shift end?" He settled for asking, arms crossing over his chest as he looked up at the woman. "We need to do something. For Christmas." If someone else had stuttered in such a way, he would have quickly deemed them pathetic. This area was not of his expertise, he admitted; that was the reason for his coming to Brown in the first place. She knew more about this holiday, about gift giving. (He wasn't one to give gifts, and the ones he had received were less about sentimental value and more about the extravagence.) His father, however...He...Valued family, Damian supposed. He'd appreciate it. Gifts. Christmas.
"We should go get gifts. For family. And Christmas. When you're done." There was no demand; while Brown was not as...hostile (Envious) as the rest were, she still had priorities over him. (What a strange feeling, someone or soemthing being put ona list before his name.) Besides, forcibly pulling her along this journey would only bring him down along awith her, and that would leave this day wasted. "So?"
[pm] So didya go to the park?
[pm] Yes, I did. It was very beautiful. You were right.
