uniqua from the backyardigans is 1 of 2 things

1. A bug (the boring option)

The only ground for this is her lack of a nose, ears, tail etc. This is only backed by physical appearance. She has antennas and spots

2. Alien / Something different entirely (yeahhhhhh)

The ground for this one is all that is stated for the bug argument but also in her name. All the other characters have “Normal” or traditional names while Uniqua’s is different. Her name is a play on the word unique so i think she represents kids who are different in someway. And I, a kid given a “weird” name at birth it was a lil difficult, teachers mispronouncing it, sometimes just skipping it entirely. I thought she was really cool as a kid.
