Anyone else feel like cascarilla has been co-opted?

Like, as soon as White people find out about the ancient use of something, they put it into the mainstream (i.e. Urban Outfitters) and incorporate it into their practice like it's always been there. Don't even know what cascarilla means or where it comes from! Same thing with yoga, Reiki, sage and Florida Water...
