Bourbon Pomegranate Sour is a delightful cocktail that balances the rich warmth of bourbon with the tartness of pomegranate and lemon juice, resulting in a refreshing and flavorful drink. The addition of egg white creates a silky texture and frothy top, elevating this cocktail to a sophisticated level.
Ingredients: 2 oz bourbon. 1 oz pomegranate juice. 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice. 0.5 oz simple syrup. 1 egg white. Ice cubes. Pomegranate seeds for garnish.
Instructions: Put bourbon, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white in a shaker. For about 15 to 20 seconds, give the egg white a dry shake without ice to break it up. Put some ice cubes in the shaker and shake it again for 15 to 20 seconds, or until it's very cold. Strain the drink into a cocktail glass that has been chilled. Add a few pomegranate seeds as a garnish. Serve and have fun!
