Prince and his knight

egogazer… imagine stargazer is the prince of the star kingdom and egobworder is the head knight of the moon kingdom. both kingdoms absolutely despise each other, and the conflict between them gets so bad to the point where citizens of the moon kingdom are prohibited from entering the star kingdom and vice versa.

how did the conflict start? nobody knows, though stargazer plays a huge part in the beginning of it. the king of the moon kingdom demands that stargazer be caught so he can atone for his actions towards the moon kingdom, though it’s hard to capture someone especially when they’re banned from your land and they’re a prince constantly surrounded by guards. egobworder makes it his job to hunt stargazer down.

one day, the king is out to visit the sun kingdom and leaves egobworder in charge of the palace, so egobworder sends out his other knights to go and find stargazer. unluckily (or luckily, depending on who’s pov it is), stargazer is outside of the kingdom, in a large patch of flowers as he tends to them beneath the night sky, making him an easy target. the knights capture him, having ambushed the prince, and bring him back to the palace, where he has to face egobworder.

stargazer’s mad at first. he keeps telling egobworder that due to his high status, people will be flocking to find him immediately, though egobworder could care less about his rambles, then, in an attempt to get his attention, stargazer starts to provoke the knight, which actually works. stargazer keeps talking, much to egobworder’s dismay, so he does the one and only thing he can think of to shut the prince up, which is a kiss.

now, stargazer’s had his eye on the head knight for a long while, so this is something right out of a dream (well, almost). he’s shocked that the other would even attempt to do such a thing, and starts to tease egobworder even more. egobworder’s now heavily flustered, he didn’t expect himself to act without thinking. he gets so embarrassed that he sends stargazer back to the star kingdom, and hopes he never runs into him again, but fate has other plans.
