Same person who gave Vinestaff a living arm idea: it is angry and wants death but is also calmed by gardening obviously. It loves to taunt Vinestaff but also cares about her (only because if she's dead so is it and she can just cut it off). It's basically the devil on Vinestaff's shoulder telling her to right hook the karen when she's working and whispering in her ear to stop healing and start throwing hands in phights.

The placeholder name is Thorn and it's basically a manifestation of everything Vinestaff is suppressing. Her trauma, her animalistic urges (growing up and surviving on your own in an archipelago can do that to you), her violence, whatever parts of her that she deems as "wrong".

Genuinely so much fun to think about. I like to imagine that whenever Thorn gets some control of itself Vinestaff's arm becomes more jagged and claw-like. Lemme draw a picture for reference.
