"Sorry my love...” Shifting on the bed, he pulled himself up a little straighter, wincing as the infected wound in his abdomen complained against the stitches. “I’m on the starve right now anyway.. surgery tomorrow.” Not that that was anything new in and of itself, this being the third time he’d had to go under the knife since the four little letters had presented themselves in his post-op diagnosis. ‘MRSA’... Still, this was the first time they were having to actually open him up again. 

Letting his forced attempt at levity drop, he sighed through his nose, automatically going to rub at his temple, an old anxious habit. 

“I’ll be alright. I just feel like shit warmed up at the moment..” Frowning, he added quietly. “Routine appendectomy my ass.”

“....I-I think so....” He said, looking up to his twin. It was indeed odd, looking around the world that is much larger now. He almost had no idea what to even think. He let out a soft whine, and wrapped his arms around the other’s giant fingers. “.....D-Do you think maybe....you can help me...g-get back to normal?”
