Summary: It’s time to take off the mask and show everyone who you really are. Stop pretending to be someone else, because it must be so tiring to masquerade as Jack all the time. Wouldn’t you say, Chase?

(Jack’s Recording Room)
It was the monthly Charity Livestream and Jack was acting like his usual cheerful energetic self. At least on camera it seemed like it.
“Top of the morin’ to ya laddies! Welcome to this Month’s Charity Livestream! We’re going to be doing some gaming to help raise some money. If you can donate no matter how small of amount even one dollar can and does make a difference. But if you can’t then please try to spread the word about the Charity Livestream. If you’re on Tumblr and anything like that then reblog or retweet!
Okay, so the games I’m going to be playing is called Stories Untold. I don’t know much about these games but it looks really cool. So, basically what I have read on their page on Steam is that there are four different short stories. So, let’s jump right into!”
Jack started up the game and was really liking the opening. Reminding him of the eighties like shows that he grew up watching. When the game started Jack complimented about how it was like a choose your own adventure like books. It was like playing a book and was really getting in to it. He quickly grabbed a drink of water though. ‘Man, did I remember to eat today?’ Jack went right on ploughing through the game. Getting scared himself, with some of the jump-scares.

Jack blinked at bit. Did he really hear that? No, it was nothing. He just wasn’t getting that much sleep. How could he when he has to . . .
There was soft static sound in his headphones. Jack took them off and started to examine them. And then he double check the recording system. Everything was okay, so what was that noise? Shrugging his shoulders, Jack went back to the Livestream.
“Huh? Oh, sorry guys. Just some weird static I was hearing but everything seems fine now. Okay, back to the game!” Jack smiled and tried to play it off.
Just stop pretending? Oh, he wished he could do that! But he couldn’t! There’s no way that could tell them that he was actually . . .
It’s toward the end of the second story of Stories Untold that Jack really wasn’t start to do well. He was rubbing his eyes, grabbing his water bottle more. He was starting to feel a bit faint so well.
“Don’t worry guys I’m alright. I just need to eat something. Don’t worry I’ll grab something here in a bit.” Jack told everyone in chat. ‘Just get through this. That’s all you have to do. You’ll be able to grab something and then you can rest while Jackie or Marvin comes in to finish up.’
His stomach was starting to growl a bit, letting Jack know that he needs to eat something. The third part of the game came up. Jack was having some trouble with this one. Mostly, with the going back and forth, trying to decode the different messages. It wasn’t until towards the end of the third story that things went downhill.
Yes. He was so tired of playing as someone else. He so wanted to pull this mask off but he’s been playing as Jack for so long. No, he couldn’t take off the mask, as much as he wanted too. The facade would be done. He would have failed his brothers. His family and their Creator if did that. No, he had to keep going. He failed as a father he couldn’t fail at playing as someone else!
Rubbing his eyes and giving a very strained smile. “Okay, well I’m going to take a quick break and grab something to eat. But thank you guys so much for tuning in for this stream so far. Um, let me put something up for you all to watch and listen to while I go and do that.”
The screen goes black and then all we hear was . . .
Thump!
It sound like something or someone fell and hit the floor. We hear the door was slammed open and someone rushing in. Then all we heard was, “Chase! Chase! This is Ethan! You need to wake up!”
