So sorry for how long it has taken and thank you for not killing me for that outrageous delay. Here you are, finally. ;D

 Huh. ShouldI toss a coin to choose one? I don’t have any coins, so maybe I just limit myoptions to fandoms we both know. So, Huddy maybe. Snd it’s not because I’mhilson shipper. I’m all in for House/Stacy or Wilson/Amber, but Huddy is justterrible or the way they portrayed it - making Cuddy, who I really had liked,an insufferable character -  is terrible,which is basically the same thing. Or maybe something you’ve actually seen,since you hadenough good senses not to watch seventh season of House… O, Six Feet Under, Nate/Lisa. Not that I like Nate with anyone –surprising as it will be for you to hear, I just can’t stand Nate at freakingall, but with Lisa they were especially tiring mix for me.

 Ha. I don’thave anyone in particular in mind right now, but I would really appreciate anice fanart of Asmodeusz (Maria Lidia Kossakowska, Siewca Wiatru).

 You know, funny thing is, the reason why Iadore AU fanfiction so much is that it always manages to surprise me, becauseI’m totally hopeless at it. You know that I’m hopeless at this, right? And you just don’t care? ;D

I have onlyone idea. It’s a very universal idea and at least half of a credit belongs to averypleasantpineapple, but after a monthly delay I probably won’t come up withanything better, so it has to do. Idea of AU First Meeting, applicable todifferent pairings – Person A mistakenly gives wrong account number and theirmoney goes to Person B. Since Person A does not have any contact info to PersonB and their transfer apparently isn’t going to return on its own, they makeanother, really small one, with some on-point description (like “hey, give meback my money, you dishonest excuse of a human being”), Person B responds withtheir transfer and note and so it goes on, before one of them has a presence ofmind to provide more sensible means of communication.

(to be honest,I have no idea if in other countries personal information has to match accountnumber – in Poland not necessarily or so I’ve heard from my very helpfullyamused father when I was wondering if I didn’t give wrong account number atwork – so I don’t know how possible it is anywhere else).  

  S - Show usan example of your personal headcanon

 Pikebeing really, really bored when dust settled after Nero business and withoutanything useful to do, takes on habit of reading all sort articles about peoplehe know. I kind of doubt that press in XXIII century will have more sense thannow, so he finds bunch of ridiculous stuff in it. He keeps to himself  significant part of it – but maybe notforgetting names of so-called journalists and making notes to maybe, justmaybe, make them chase some stupid and fruitless lead or work on rather inaccurateinformation in the future. And maybe journalist who lied about Winona being neglectfulmother ended up dedicating three weeks of his life to work on a lead about somesuper advanced Vulcan technology that never existed and some other hack whowent way to deep into Jim Kirk’s personal life had a misfortune of publishingrather unproved piece about some important admiral’s biography (that one had afree bonus of annoying the hell out of said admiral and PR department). But the harmless and funny ones – ones that hefinds funny, anyway – he treasures and annoys people with them every chance hegets. He quickly gets bored with Spock’ stoically raised eyebrows, Winona knowshow to retaliate and few moments of fun aren’t really worth cancelling allinterviews she scheduled on his behalf, there is no fun in teasing Jim who can’tcare less. But. Casually mentioning to McCoy that some young man who’s neverheld a scalpel in his life, had a better idea for a medical procedure andlistening to his rambling is a blast. He mostly gives it up when Enterprise sails out – it’s not as muchfun as vicious exchanges he enjoys with Enterprise’sCMO so he needs to prioritize – but stocks material for future referenceanyway.  

 Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go

 I got an official blessing to forgone thisquestion and since I still don’t have any idea what to ramble about, I’m goingto do so, because I still don’t have any idea. ;)

001. McKirk // 002. James Wilson or/and Sherlock Holmes :D

when I started shipping it if I did: sometimes during watching Star Trek2009, I suppose. I like shipping (what’s an unexpected information! ;D) andinstantly liked their dynamic. But it was all fun and games till I started tolook for fanfics – not necessarily romantic ones, but necessarily with Kirk andMcCoy and many of them were, in fact, not friendship only. Okay, most of themwas not friendship only. And well, rest is a merry combination of too much freetime during my summer internship, very well-working wi-fi connection and surprisingamount of really good texts.

my thoughts: they make so much sense in AOS more messyuniverse

What makes me happy about them: it’s really is a strange question,isn’t it? Okay, but actually I have some idea how to answer: maybe even morethan McKirk itself I like the fandom around them, their way about writing othercharacters, for example female characters. I like how after reading spreethrough AO3, Winona Kirk became one of my favorites characters instead of clichéof hopeless mother featured in total of one scene and not mentioned ever after.I love how Nyota, Gaila, Carol  (andChristine Chapel, screw the canon) are written. How Jocelyn is a decentcharacter in majority of well-written texts. Thank you, McKirk fandom, thankyou very much.

What makes me sad about them: I avoided the McKirk angst the bestI could. ;D

things done in fanfic that annoys me: aside from the usual,out-of-character problems, I tend to go away from fanfiction  portraying McCoy as a blameless victim in hisdivorce or piling all of Jim’s stupidity on Winona being a monstrous mother (seeabove). And I’m annoyed when Jim is too perfect, especially from the start (oreven in Academy)  – for its many faults,I really liked STID’s idea that he royally screws up his first run as theEnterprise’s captain. I know he’s a genius and all, but that perfect version isfreaking boring.

things I look for in fanfic: also aside from the classic: AOS isthis one universe where I especially like all (okay, all good) AU versions. And I have special place in my heart for allMcKirk fanfiction that includes movies’ minor characters (or characters absentin movies, imported directly from TOS) in greater capacity, like Pike or Winona(have I mentioned I bloody love well-written Winona Kirk? ;D).

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, ifnot each other: noone, I’m afraid. Spock is an unavailable options, since Spock/Nyota was one ofthat canonical ships I saw and went “okay, dear canon, I buy it” and evenbeside that, I’m really fond of this ship.

My happily ever after for them: my very private headcanon goes moreor less like this: after years in space (circa fifteen, I think), McCoy getsreally nice offer to work planetside and Jim decides it’s time to take themback to Earth (it make sense, McCoy being the one taking them to stars allthose years ago) before one of them gets killed. McCoy seems uncertain and Jimknows he thinks about that other Kirk, one that wouldn’t be happy off theEnterprise – but he’s seen enough, he’s ready to go back and for the first timein his life, he truly doesn’t envy this alternate version of himself. So he acceptsteaching position in the Academy Pike (very alive Pike, screw you, STID) wasnagging him about for years, they got a dog or a cat or maybe two horses andbig library and family dinners with Winona where Pike (very alive Pike, let’ssay it again) and McCoy are bickering mercilessly, because getting at eachother nerves is their favorite thing in the world (aside from teasing Jim) (oneday I developed headcanon with Pike&McCoy strong friendship and McCoy callingPike “Chris” in unofficial communications when Jim still is at “yes, sir/no, sir”basis and starts to worry that his own mentor like his partner better) (okay,maybe I’ll get back to the question… ;D). And the crew keeps in touch, maybeSpock and Nyota decide to live on Earth, not New Vulcan, so Jim can be cooluncle and spoil their kids rotten.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: probably depends on the day they’vehad, but Jim takes every occasion he can to be a little one, because he can beruthless opportunist. ;)

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: I like idea of Jim collecting paperbooks and getting McCoy, a true bookworm on his own, to enjoy reading from thepaper as well.

How I feel about this character: strongly <3

All the people I ship romantically with thischaracter: Amberand House

My non-romantic OTP for this character: House in canon and, hm. That would it.I see Wilson having many associates, work-friends, people who’s friendly andpolite with, but he’s keeping them at distance, even if some of them justassume that there is nothing more to know about him.

My unpopular opinion about this character: does the opinion that Wilson couldbe a total asshole count as unpopular?

One thing I wish would happen / had happenedwith this character in canon: two things. First of all, I would like to know – not just assume – somethingabout his background, because aside from one schizophrenic brother and the factthat the other brother exists, we didn’t get to know anything about his family. Even after Amber, when Lucas tells Housewith whom Wilson is talking, there is no mother, father, uncle or said secondbrother mentioned. Hell, at the end of eight season there is no family in thepicture and Wilson just took off with House. Second, I was always yearning forsome clearer recognition how cool character Wilson is, because he obviously is and there are some manypeople who think he’s boring. Sigh. ;D

my OTP: Hmmm, let me think… ^^ Hilson? Yeah, thatsounds about right.

my cross over ship: nope, dedicated hilson shipper, sorry. ;D

a headcanon fact: shit, I don’t remember canon all that wellnow. ;D Okay ad. wish would happen point and recognition: more specifically, Ifelt cheated when the scene with Wilson telling Tritter to go to hell wentunmentioned later on, so I had headcanon scene with House figuring this out.

002 | andSherlock. Canon!Sherlock, since you don’t watch Elementary (we need to go to our favorite middle of nowhere somedayand change it ;D) and I don’t assume you’re asking about BBC!Sherlock…although, at least I wouldn’t have a problem with my unpopular opinion abouthim. ;D  

How I feel about this character: first love of my life in theliterature category

All the people I ship romantically with thischaracter: I don’t,not in canon. Irene Adler is the only one able to keep up with him – despite certainmodern misconceptions, she wins unconditionally their intellectual duel, butshe’s also so very not interested in him, beyond capacity of an enjoyable littledistraction in her busy life. I would see less possibility for romantic shipbetween those two only is she were a lesbian.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Watson. And Sherlock/decency, myfavorite ship courtesy of Elementary fandom.

My unpopular opinion about this character: he’s totally and absolutely not an emotionallyclueless and harbor great deal of kindness toward people who need it. It shouldn’tbe an unpopular opinion, since it’s written all over the canon, but strangethings happen.

One thing I wish would happen / had happenedwith this character in canon: Watson should really punch him after Moriarty the whole Moriarty business.Good reasons or not, Watson earned it.

my OTP: Sherlock/decency

my cross over ship: it’s not a romantic ship, but all Sherlocksand Watsons party would be fun. I think that canon!Sherlock andElementary!Sherlock would go along marvelously, going all fanboys over their respectiveWatsons, for example, while said Watsons exchange useful advises, House!versionsdoing something suspicious and Granada!Holmes and Granada!Watson observingeveryone from safe distance .

a headcanon fact: After Moriarty business is concluded and dealtwith, Sherlock Holmes wakes up one night after a weird nightmare. He wastrapped with Watson in some kind of strange and rather uncomfortable lookingtrain, there was a device that Watson believed would soon killed them and althoughHolmes knew it, in fact, wouldn’t, for some mystifying reason he chose to keepthis information for himself . Instead he manipulated Watson into forgiving himand only then reviled that device had been harmless the whole time. Even worse,instead of punching him for such an unnecessarystunt like the man Holmes respects, Watson was laughing. Holmes is sohorrified by the whole thing that next morning he vaguely apologizes to Watsonfor his overdramatic behavior, even if he didn’t do anything of the sort forsome time and Watson has no idea what he’s talking about. It’s not veryrational apology at all, but at least when the next occasion occurs, hecarefully calculates if his dramatics are really necessary.
