Pov: You felt asleep next to Eideard
The Death Effect
Tragedy follows wherever Death goes.

Been looking for an excuse to draw her without her disguise and this was perfect. Thank you!
Darksiders Inktober 2021, Day 15 - Corrupted The moment I saw this prompt, I knew this was going to be Eideard - imagine that this maker, who tried so hard to keep all who was left safe, would become corrupted first out of all of them and would be their ultimate downfall. But as I drew, I started thinking - how would this happen exactly? AU: Death came much more later into Forgelands. After an encounter with a Crowfather the Horseman woke up in the plains, where a bold maker was checking if he was okay while a gigantic eye, in turn, was observing them like a hawk. After a brief conversation (a back and forth of nasty remarks with some info sprinkled in) Death learns the name of a maker - Karn. From him he learns that Corruption took over this realm, he is seemingly the only maker left and also learns about the Tree, the Guardian, the Forge and gets his quest: restoring the Fire and the Tears Of A Mountain and after that Karn will make a Maker’s key to wake the Guardian. With that accomplished, Death returns to Karn, and the two head into Tri Stone. On their way, Karn asks Death if he remembers what he told about the Makers of this realm. Death does remember that “you’re the only one left”. And to that Karn warns, voice the most solemn and grim, that they are about to encounter those who “used to” resign there.(because he couldn’t deal with them the first time he saw them - I headcanon Karn being a little bit of a coward 070) Karn’s face becomes a storm, a frown never leaving since he entered the completely abandoned. And Karn’s words ring true, as Death and the only Maker of this realm have to deal with a warrior maker, who swinged his axe in blind rage, the Shaman who’s eyes shined a bright yellow behind a cloth covering them and two other makers, instead of hands being ooze appendages made of Corruption, who waited for seemingly something at the doors of the Maker’s Forge. Karn says that there must be the only one left here somewhere. And they have already looked around the whole place besides the Forge itself. The doors open. Death is met by an already not so unfamiliar sight - an elderly looking Maker standing by, his figure wracked by ooze and crystals. At the slam of the door, the last corrupted being in Tri Stone turns his head. And then for a second- An emotion appears on his face. The one and only second of calm before the final reaping of a fallen maker begins. Prompts: @imagine-darksiders
idk if this has been done before but enjoy
Imagine falling asleep on Eideard's lap and nearly reducing the old man to tears.
Could we please have some soft death moment?
You got it, pal.
In Chapter 22 of CHWH, Y/n finally gets some much needed rest, courtesy of Draven offering her the use of his private quarters. Sadly, it's difficult to find true peace in sleep, especially after surviving such a tumultuous day.
At least Death seems content to stick close, in spite of Y/n's insistence that he doesn't need to stay.
