Carrying on a rich history of now two years, Berlermo Blockbuster Week is back for 2023!
All the movie tropes you know and love (or maybe you don't but as vehicles for our favorite ship. A disaster movie where no one listens to the scientists and they all die - except for, ofc, the scientists? A rom-com, rivals to lovers? A horror movie where a seemingly haunted house is, surprising no one but the protagonists, haunted? Or a superhero flick where-
You get the point. If it can be (or even is - movie crossovers are welcomed!) a blockbuster, it can have Berlermo. And we'd love you to join us in writing or illustrating them!
For inspiration, you can see the Berlermo Blockbuster offerings of the last two years in the AO3 collections here and here. And since prequels and sequels are very much "in" these days, writers who participated the previous years can also choose to further explore last year's fic verse!
Artists are more than welcome to participate! You can either pair up with a writer to illustrate a poster or make a "trailer" for their blockbuster, or you can have your own take making a concept poster, trailer or gifset for your own original idea.
The fics can be one-shots, any length is welcome!
The AO3 collection will be open between April 21st until April 27th, and will be announced in time - we'll keep you updated of all details!
