it's not often one sees Ravages fan art that involves fantasy renditions of established characters

Drawing The Ravages of Time version of Zhuge Liang as art trade with valval_zlkm on Instagram. Also counts as a personal achievement due to me finally drawing him after loads of Guo Jia doodles.

I actually wanted to blend his robe colour with the background, but it didn't seem to work well... ^^;;

If there is any difficulty in drawing Ravages characters, it's the eyebrows; they're either too thick (like Xun Yu & Gan Ning), too short (Guo Jia & Yang Xiu), or too absurd-shaped (some that are forked still look normal, but then there's Zuo Ci...).

how else to talk about the masterminds in Ravages without resorting to power level rankings (also consider this conspiracy chart a follow-up to how Chen Mou part-jokingly compared the warlords to parliamentary candidates)

the only missing element in the series is an explicitly revolutionary route of class struggle and people’s war...

finely-crafted fan illustrations (or colorings) are nice and all, but Ravages can also use some more caricature sketches along with the meme faces
