Her lungs burned. How long she had been running was at a loss in time she didn’t care to think of. Her cloak was ripped across her arm, blood having stained the gash on it. There was gun fire behind her, a tree exploded to her left causing her to duck for cover. She looked around frantically before taking off into the thicker brush.
The gun fire continued as she found her direction heading down hill. She slide against the leaves and twigs leaving a trial of her path. Once to the bottom, she turned around, lifting her hands from her cloak. Black nails, pointed and dangerous laid flat out in front of her. Her hands rose up and down just as the wind swept through the fresh path. The leaves were pushed back over it, covering her tracks the best she could. She glanced around again, taking to the thicker parts of the large trees.
“Damn!” A shout was heard in the distance.
She slowly climbed the tree, over looking the man who held a sniper rifle. A grin came across her lips as she watched him try to fix a jam. It was more than enough time for her to cover her tracks and make it far from him. She enjoyed the chase, but found it less exciting over the centuries...

The local market was busy on this planet. It was a trade route, many different species making their way through and would stop here for supplies. She found herself wondering in, needing to replenish her own and get some food. She needed to repair her cloak, the wound she had no worries about. With her time now freed from the hunt, there wasn’t a better place to blend in for now. Keeping her face hidden under her cloak, she did her best to stay quite, out of attention and out of this planets problems for once...
Until gun fire went off again.
Some people ran, she didn’t. Rather, she perked up, looking for the source of it. She ducked between two market fronts, keeping her eyes alert, cobalt eyes just barely shining in the shadows of her cover.
“He is over there! Go!” She heard a creature shout in another language.
They weren’t looking for her, she didn’t think. It allowed her to step out from her hiding spot a little more. It made her curious as who they were looking for. Just down the market street, a group of four mercenary's gathered spiting off alone. They were from a very old bounty hunter clan, she knew they only came out for special reasons or if the price was high enough. If they weren’t looking for her, than who?
