Pueden leer la crítica completa en el link de mi bio (donde encontrarán el enlace directo para disfrutar de #Ascenso ): “Gracias a su ambigüedad y lenguaje simbólico, Ascenso nos permite acercarnos a esa membrana donde los opuestos se tocan y se abren a múltiples interpretaciones. ¿El joven se vuelve un parricida o es el padre quien acaba con su hijo? ¿Es la madre o la muerte quien consuela al joven? ¿Isis insta a Horus a enfrentarse a Seth o asistimos al nacimiento de Horus, fruto de Osiris (un padre muerto) e Isis (una madre que con su velo nos lo oculta todo)? ¿Es un rito de transición de la adolescencia a la adultez donde es necesario matar al padre y la madre? Todas las interrogantes y todas las respuestas son válidas, Ascenso nos plantea un lienzo donde podemos proyectar nuestra sombra y los demonios que nos persiguen, dándole forma a nuestra lucha interior y el infierno que llevamos por dentro. En la narrativa de los “Morochos” menos es más y con pocos planos, locaciones, personajes y tiempo logran sacudir el alma del público muchísimo más que toda la filmografía de muchos realizadores. My character Autumn from my comic, holding Sadness Blossoms. They grow all over the world and only showed up after the breaking.

Trying new painting things... and trying to relearn other things. But I think I'm happy with this!

Happy Halloween! Just in time, haha

This is my Queen of Nightmares from my comic, Eighth Sin. She has a shadow that follows her constantly that she calls her Nightmare. She invades her dreams, though she controls it to some degree, but this has lead Sereana to sleep very little in her endless life. Her lands are a nightmare to travelers, and the extent of her power is unknown-- but she is known to raise the dead. Her Kingdom however, is fully functional. And while bleak, the residence do not succumb to the nightmares travelers do.

Aaaand I finally finished it.

Inada Amai, the Ice Queen (not actual title) in my comic Eighth Sin and one of the first rulers you meet. She has a malady where she controls the ice, wind, snow, snowstorms, water (for ice) with such power, that she’s one of the most powerful beings on the planet, charged with defense of the world (along with the others).  She also emits a terrible cold from her body that if anyone were to even touch her, they and their inside would turn to solid ice. Standing next to her is near imposible.  The part of the continent she rules is in perpetual winter because of her nature.

I also recorded my painting of this. I would of been done the painting sooner, but my PC is old and running photoshop and the camera recording software slows everything down.
