My brainrot for RebornxApple (ReboApp) became so extremely strong, I can only ever ship Reborn with her sjbdhsdvfd They fit A LOT of my preferences too hehehe Don't worry Apple, I will shi/ll you to this Anon, as its my legal & spiritual obligation. Ship aside, the premise of the story (In Somnis) is very interesting to me. Apple herself is an interesting character that hides a lot beneath her beautiful introverted exterior (I'm looking Butter, I'm digging...👁️👄👁️🔎).

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw
I already answered this here, but I'll give you another. Lum/ine, Ae/ther, Ei, Xi/ao, Wan/derer and any of my other faves from any Mi/hoyo game that I play, because goddamn! Just look at their outfits! Back when I was still drawing fanarts for Gen/shin, I will die every time just from drawing the details of their clothing. But I was too down horrendous for Lu/mine to just give up on drawing her. So when I switched to drawing Sp/yFam fanarts right after, my art braincells are just "Thank God, this evil Gen/shin obsession has been defeated".
Not gonna lie, with them releasing Oro/ron and Sun/day so close to each other, I'm starting to feel the urge to draw them again...wtf djfbjsd Anyway, if anyone drawing Gen/shin fanart (specifically) comes across this by any chance, here's a lifesaver reference site that I used for their outfits. It made the experience slightly less painful.
14. Any favorite motifs
Motifs where there are opposites of light/darkness and sun/moon, but not exactly presented in a black/white way where you know from a glance which is the absolute good and which is the absolute evil. It's more of like ying yang, where there's "complementary and at the same time opposing forces" or that "in kindness, there's evil; in evil, there's kindness". I believe the gray blur where each of these sides converge is the best place ever to explore in fiction.
3. What ideas come from when you were little
The concept itself of making a comic! When I was around...I guess around 4th to 5th grade? Around ten years old or less? I remember drawing this comic of an original story I had back then. I think the setting is something like a historical drama in Ko/rea.
That's because even in the late 2000's and early 2010s, kd/ramas were popping off so hard in PH, almost every adult I knew were watching them. It would always play in the background whenever I'm doing homework or when my mother is tutoring me. The titles I can remember were Je/wel in the Pa/lace and Queen Se/ondok (<-OK I GOTTA CONFESS THIS ONE CHANGED MY BRAIN CHEMISTRY).
Anyway, my younger self got so into this original comic story, I probably ended up drawing up to like half a ream of papers? sdjfbjshvfshd It's all traditional drawings with short bond papers with just a shitty ballpoint black pen. I was ten years old(?), so it definitely looked not so good. It's a secret project so I'm the only one who knows about it and I also hid it under our cabinet like it's some lemon fanfic hahaha (it's more action, tragedy with a bit of romance) I think it's because of that bit of romance that I hid it out of embarrassment, also the papers were actually supposed to be for when we need to print something for school projects, so I think I thought I was gonna get scolded for "wasting" them. I'm not about risk myself getting whooped with either a slipper, belt or broom bro 💀💀💀
I think what happened after that is for when your art perception improves but ur art skills can't catch-up, so I kind of had an art block and wasn't satisfied with it anymore. Then I ripped the pages and threw the entire thing away dsjvfhdsfvshdf 🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿 I wish I didn't 🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿 I have no start point to compare my current art with anymore and I can't even remember the story or the OCs that I had in there anymore.
Anyway, I'm making up for it now by making comics seriously fr fr and I won't be deleting it even if a ten-wheeler art block truck hits me and runs me over.
This question made me look through the oldest fandom account I can remember, for possible old arts and it's actually so funny/embarrassing how passive-aggressive 14 year old me is. Someone commented "I don't like this ship! This character is only mine!" on a rarepair ship fanart I showed to the group and 14-year old me replied "I understand your feelings, but you're not his only fan so keep that to yourself next time ^_^" ajvfsghdcghsdcds other interactions are also full of haterism energy it makes me go GHURL STOP!!! 😭😭😭😭 THAT'S SO MEAN!!! Since it's you sending this ask, the fave I got to answer this with has to be the one and only, Hib/ari Ky/oya 🤣🤣🤣 The first look at his design, it looks so simple. Nothing really too complicated with his hairstyle. He would fit into that one meme where this user is trying to compile "basic black hair guy" from various media (basic black hair guy??? but he's so ikemen and popular??? that's how you know he has 10000 aura & charisma *biased*). But then when you actually try to draw him, there's just something about him that I find hard to capture. Or maybe it's because he's my fave, that my brain just hyperfocuses on the tiny details that makes him *HIM* that sets him apart from other characters with similar designs. Then, I just end up overthinking how I draw him. And that makes him such a bitch to draw.

Game OSTs and maps/areas! I listened to the whole playlist of Enka//nomiya (from Gen/shin) so much, it lowkey ended up as an inspiration for Kana's character and general vibes, especially for a certain part of her lore. I originally listened to it for just studying because it helps me focus, then somehow the whole playlist AND the map/area itself is Kana-core now.
If I just have to rec a few from this playlist though, these are the ones: Soft Moans of the Remains, Sink Into Oblivion, Tearless Souls of Byakuya, Hope or Nostalgia, Vanished Beyond Recall, Combat Beneath the Waves (most of the titles ahahaha...🙃)
21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways
The first one that came to mind for this is Hiro/hiko Ar/aki-sensei! He's the mangaka who made Jo/jo's Biz/arre Adv/enture. His style is so legendary and iconic, I'm very sure you've seen it at least once. It's so different from mine that leans more towards the conventional pretty anime character style, but I LOVE Ara/ki-sensei's art so much, especially the fashion, poses and his grasp with drawing the forms/shape of his characters with such a god-level of consistency.
I remember someone making a gif of his character in different panels, arranging them so that they're facing in different angles. The result is so smooth, it's like you're rotating a 3d model with how consistent he drew the face structure, even if each one is from a different manga panel! 🤯🤯🤯✨✨✨
27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with
It's a 50-50! Sometimes I do when I remember, then sometimes I don't because I either forgot to or it's just that good of a day for me to draw. And when I do forget, I would only remember because it kind of feels off for no reason, especially when I'm just at the sketching stage. When I realize that, I would open another canvas asap and start drawing random stuff. If it's coloring then, I usually don't need to warm up.
For my warm up subjects, I usually go for Kana or Kurumi, depending on my mood. I drew them so much, so they're the easiest and quickest to draw for me, they're great for warm-up sketches for that very reason. They're also a test to see rq if a certain day is a good drawing day. Because if I can't even draw KanaRumi properly, then I know my brain is not in the right setting to draw at that particular time just yet. I can stop the clownery very early and just switch to doing something else.

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)
It's easiest for me to draw a character facing to my left, especially the 3/4th pose. It's my go-to pose whenever I start sketching/doodling headshots/bust-up portraits.
If I have to draw someone facing the right, I would flip the canvas first and proceed like I'm normally drawing a pose facing the left, then flip back later so that they're now facing the right hahaha I love digital art.
19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)
This really shows a lot with Kurumi, but I really love drawing ribbons! Before KHR, one of the media that really had a death grip on me is Wi/tch's Heart and my fave there (Claire) has a ribbons on her outfits too. As I kept drawing her more, the more I got used to drawing ribbons. Now, it's one of my faves to draw objects-wise.
23. Do you use different layer modes
HELL YEAH!! I LOVE using layer modes!! They're so OP and one of my favorite features in an art program. You will never ever see me talking shit about layer modes, I will only ever hype it up. It really makes an already nice drawing pop out even more. I just know it's a life-saver especially for webcomic/manhwa artists. It also makes shading faster for me whenever I want to take a shortcut or whenever I don't want to create clipping layers for each color layer.
I'd say a chill Hibari fan with a passion for ocs and a fan of winter.

I usually draw with either a stream or music playing in the background! I often even play certain genres just to lock in on the atmosphere in my brain as well. Especially when the art itself is inspired from a song, then if it takes 4 hours to finish that art then I will have that song on repeat for 4 hours straight hahahaha
How long have you been drawing?
I've been drawing ever since I can remember??? I'm born inside this prisonlmao??? Early grade school maybe??? Probably for as long as I've been watching anime and the earliest ones I can remember are Drag/onball, Gho/st Figh/ter, Akazu/kin Cha/cha, Flame of Re/cca and Digi/mon. So that's more than half my life. But then I'll have to deduct the multiple long times when I stopped because of studies & mental health issues, so minimum 10 years? I wish I really didn't stop, I feel like my art would be more refined and closer to my ideal vision if I didn't. But oh well, I can just make up for it now.
