Since my school shenanigans seem to be pretty popular on tumblr, I'm gonna share a story.
So, for context, at my boarding school, we just have morning classes on Saturdays and, then, the afternoon is free for us to use as long as we're back in our dorms by curfew. This information will help put into context what's going on.
So, I was busy heading to my last class of the day when I started hearing loud metal music coming from the courtyard. I went to check it out cuz I was curious, and found this giant crowd of kids shouting and cheering on something. It was at this moment I realized that the music was 'The Only Thing They Fear is You' from that shooter everyone liked 4 years ago.
I looked into the crowd, and saw five kids of various grades going in an all out brawl with each other.
And by brawl, I mean 'fight to the death' sans the actually dying part.
There was hair-pulling, nose-breaking, the blackening of eyes, the whole nine yards.
I was genuinely shocked none of our teachers were noticing this.
And then probably the best part of this story happened.
One of my classmates (Who's the kid I mentioned in an earlier post that knew pencak silat and karate) went up to the crowd, pushed his way through, and promptly wiped the floor with all five of the fighters.
Idk how this kid, who is only a few centimeters taller than me and is probably the biggest loner I had ever met, was able to quickly take out five kids who were fighting, but here I am, telling this story.
Anyway, the crowd quickly broke up and the kid (Who I'm going to refer to from now as Pencak Silat Kid to make it easier for myself) walked away to the last class of the day.
By the time our gym teacher got to the area (I knew cuz I was one of the last ones to leave), the only people there were all five of the kids, knocked out cold. I haven't seen them since so I am going to assume they had been expelled or suspended.
Anyway, you guys want to know the stinger of this story?
For our last class, my history teacher made us form groups for a history project regarding the French Resistance in Nazi-Occupied France during ww2. And you know who I got as my partner?
Pencak Silat Kid.
...he's a pretty nice guy, honestly. Barely talked about himself but he was receptive to my ideas and we had a pretty good time working on the project for the rest of the day after classes. I got his name too, but I'm not going to doxx it on tumblr.
