Thinkin about how Webber is most likely a representation of Shamura, and wondering just how far that comparison goes

Cause theres other non-human characters in Dont Starve (both playable and NPC), and Monster Prom didn't get any characters inserted despite the fact they would all fit in, so it feels like Webber was inserted with a purpose and not just cause he's cute cameo. I would think that if the reasoning was "cute cameo" we would get more cameos.

The food pictured seems most likely to be Spicy Chili, which is equal parts vegetable and meat. Is it a coincidence that COTL has an equivalent to that?

They're eating on a red blanket with gold trim, making it match the flags of the Old Faith that appear in the trailer and the colors of the elite/high level OF Followers.

Lamb's focus is on Webber, but the Red Crown's focus is on his skull. And is it not weird that both Webber and his skull are present when they are effectively the same entity? And the Skull is not happy to have the Crown's attention.

And then there's the decorations! Many of which are related to science, ie. the pursuit of Knowledge. The Science Machine on Lamb's Side, and the Alchemy Machine on the Crown's side. The Tree Guardians are an interesting touch, which might tie back to something/someone in Darkwood.

And that statue? Is of a Deerclops. A Winter-exclusive monster. Eating its eye grants lots of health, but at the cost of your sanity. It freezes players (cough, cough, Touch of Ithaqua; cough cough) but its primary focus is more on the destruction of structures. Chaos.

(Also Webber's comment on this creature is "He might be able to digest me", and Webber's epithet is The Indigestible.)

Webber is a person who was eaten by a spider but, instead of being digested, merged with it. He's an entity with two souls (and seems to hold memories from both halves, but doesn't differentiate between them). He's brought into the world/game via a frankenstein-esque resurrection. His current predicament was caused by a moment of foolishness he couldn't take back. His best friend is someone with a morbid obsession with death. And is haunted by her twin sister. Also she likes art.

No one deserves hate and those messages are disgusting. But just like sarah Talabi, this girl literally inserted herself into this situation with no actual proof she’s ever even been in the same room as T. All of the pics and photoshopped stuff that has come out of her with him is totally fake. So while those fans are insane and obviously deserve to be called out, I can’t help but feel like she is just trying for further attention.

Nope. There is no "but" in this instance. Full stop. This should NEVER happen. I don't care if she's chasing clout or faking anything. If that is what people believe, then why send hate? Why say those awful things to someone that does not and will never affect your life??
