Brew #97: Einstöck Ölgerd Icelandic Pale Ale

ABV: 5.6%

Served: From the fridge

Aroma: Floral notes, cream, marmalade

Pour: Clear orange amber with white froth

Taste: Creamy light tartness to start with slight malt notes moving into a pine dry bite to finish. Not overly robust flavour wise but good easy drinking ale.

Notes: 330ml bottle

Brew #89: Einstöck Ölgerd Icelandic Toasted Porter

ABV: 6%

Served: Off the shelf

Aroma: Roast coffee beans

Pour: Ruby black, dark tan froth disappearing to nothing

Taste: Burnt coffee wash with lovely notes of dark chocolate finishing on a smooth bite with treacle aftertaste. Real nice.

Notes: 330ml bottle
