Thinking about how Hibari has this very controlling and authoritative nature when it comes to what he considers his "territory" (whether it be Namichuu, or Namimori as a whole), as well as the thought process that he might have behind it.

It lead me to infer that this very nature of his is ironically quite reflective of how he himself probably yearns for "true unbridled freedom" (as discussed by @ciaossu-imagines here). Since being in control of his environment, probably meant that he can do and live as he pleases freely, without restrictions. Because the one enforcing these restrictions against other people would be him.

This is shown clearly with how strictly he enforces these so-called school regulations as the leader of the Disciplinary Committee. Wherein, the enforcement of such rules isn't purely rooted from any noble reason at all, but rather, it's mainly from self-interest. Of course, it's a case by case basis if it's for his own peace, his satisfaction or his entertainment.

Thought of a bunch of New Years Resolutions this time that I'd like to follow through with! It's tragic how these are more realistically achievable than being a chill guy 😭😭😭

⬖ Get verified on VGen (almost there actually!) ⬖ Release AT LEAST two more webcomic chapters (keeping the bar low) ⬖ Make HibaKana doujin/fan comic (is it sfw? or nsfw? which do ya'll want? any tropes/situation you'd like to see? 👀✨) ⬖ Release at least three more character profiles of the Oniyanagi Guardians (Minato, Rosa, Hiyori) ⬖ Try to be more active and have more presence in my other social media accounts (while not sacrificing fun and being a slave to the algo propaganda - that's not the end goal I want to arrive on for this one) ⬖ Make more 🌈EN & indie oshi fanarts (and possibly have one of it be used as a thumbnail or schedule art by one of them? 😳✨)

For the last two points, it's something recent that I realized that I want! Every time my oshis would release these wonderful projects, I can't help but think that I want to be able to be an artist that can work with them on projects like those.

But for that to happen I would need to:

Improve and polish my art into a more professional quality.

Have a better online presence so that I can eventually be in their radar when considering people to pull in for any of their future projects.

It kinda has a similar feeling to one of those stories where an idol fan wants to be an idol as well, and then wants to be good enough to stand on the same stage as their oshi! Except, I'm an artist that wants to be good enough to participate/be invited/be comm'd for one of my oshi's projects 💪✨

Wouldn't it be funny if I put something like "If you're En/na Alou/ette, Ka/elix De/bonair or Kl/ara Cha/rmwood, then you get 50% kamioshi discount. Treat the 50% that you'll save here as a superchat because that's how it'll end up anyway if you paid the full amount." in my TOS lmaoooo

In terms of more personal resolutions:

⬖ Become healthier and become better at managing my health ⬖ Move in to an apartment ⬖ Perform better at work and get promoted! ⬖ Be kinder to and have more respect & confidence for myself (Difficulty: EXTREME)

gentle reminder: it would be so cool and awesome if people were to: - stop using any form of gen ai in their creative works - not lie about how these ai generated images are not ai generated as despite it being obvious. - stop reposting/using artworks made by other artists without any credits at all (+link back to them) and without their express permission to do so. - stop engaging with posts containing these contents - inform your mutuals about it if they were to unknowingly interact with it.

the fandom is not as big as in the bird app, but there are still a lot of artists/creatives in here. So posting, allowing or encouraging such "content" here would be such a disrespect to the very people that keep the fandom going 🫡🫡🫡

in case it doesn't get an official announcement today though, it wouldn't be too disappointing for me personally bc we surely still have other events where it can get announced leading up towards 20th anni
