Gero looked up at the girl with a slightly blank expression, he was angry with the situation, but he shouldn't take it out on her. She was beautiful, and she seemed timid, it wasn't a match he had expected his parents to make, he wondered if Akari had a say in choosing her.

"I've never met you or your sister." He said softly "I'm sorry for pouting, I just didn't expect to get married today. For what it's worth, I doubt your sister is better than you." he wondered if Akari had said similar things to people. He knew his family had treated her as disposable throughout her life. He sighed, he could do this. He could do it for Akari. He had always wanted to share his life with someone.. She seemed nice. Maybe she would care about his well being, rather than just his career.

"W-what kind of candy do you like?"
