hi this is old art now, i made it when i first started posting about Eiris the end of last year but then uhh his notes got deleted soo i lost motives kinda but i have new ones somewhere-

he is a variant of Benry AND has a matching Loverboy-

hes somehow more traumatised

and heres a very sad all the time Benry i made (/ am in process of making)

(the 1st pic is his 1st ref/concept & the more recent 2nd pic is totally not 2 different pics thrown together in the past day)

i'm still working things out about his design

mainly the colors on things like his uniform and helmet

OH OH AND ABOUT HIS LB. How would Eiris' LB start healing from everything once he's out of the computer? Does he ever get all of his memories back? How does he feel about it?

•after escaping the computer the 1st thing he realises is his body absolutely hurts, he needs a nap and a big mac, sleep for days, absolutely pass out and snooze for 35 hours

his body aches like crazy

Spork would help take care of LB while also, like in canon, trying to find a way to uninfect him somehow

but unlike canon this is a more permanent predicament 

•i think most memories would gradually come back to him, reminded by photos and items around the house, things being told to him by Spork or Joshie (since hes a kid i think Joshie would ask to hear stories and some things he just says might spark bits of a memory that Loverboy would have to figure out the rest on his own) (while Spork is actively trying to spark his memory again since LB clearly has some sort of amnesia going)

•this is where Eiris would develop his interest in scrapbooks and photo albums, 

Spork would've shown LB photos of their friendship, marriage, baby and divorce as a way to be able to fill in the blanks that they could 

•sadly some things may be lost forever, usually unimportant things but still things- unfortunately throwing up in Showbiz Pizza is not one of those things.

•great news though! he spends a lot of time with his son while hes in recovery, too sick and in pain from his body being on the floor for days for him to really do much so he watches movies and tv with Joshie

Okay OW [/pos] but also... THAT IS SO GOOD?? How does Tommy feel about everything with his dad and Eiris? Does anyone blame Eiris for everything, or do they understand his reasons and forgive him/help him get to a place where he can heal?

ALSO. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF RESTRICTOR AND EIRIS FINALLY UNFUSED? I have so so many questions your characters and planning is AMAZING

a lot of the forgiveness process involves healing and moving on with time

•Tommys upset and angry, it would take a lot of time for him to forgive Eiris again but he feels like he can't start working on that while his dads still missing.  

•his dad had tried for years to get back in contact with them from the deep web, awake during the 2 years with nothing but silence, and he finally gets to see his son again only to immediately be taken away by a virus

a virus they had called friend. it feels like an absolute punch to the heart..

even when they do get along better i think the fear will continue to haunt him forever

•the ai are (understandably) really hurt and/or angry at Eiris for the trouble he caused, the Boomers especially 

•but with time they will come around (i don't think i could make anyone permanently hate him, even despite how much worse he fucked up than in canon)

•after getting out the computer into the robots that Spork built for them, they start doing better, and then they're able to start healing themselves before they can start to help him

& its partly in hope of saving the Restrictor

 

•while everyone agrees Eiris went rather far with what he did, they do understand how 2 years in the computer all alone in the dark had affected him. they can't totally blame his anger since most of it came from a place of his own hurting, they all quietly know they wouldn't be so calm if they'd had to go through that- but again, most think he still took it a bit too far with the fusion and infection.

•i think Coomer blames him for a long while after, because of things like the torment, blue screening and breaking him, taking Tommys dad, having him accidentally blue screen LBs arm- a lot actually!-Coomers pretty passive aggressive over the entire situation!

but will of course warm up to Eiris to help him eventually,,,

•Bubbys not to subtle with his blame- but he also warms up to him eventually    after at least one threat with fire- 

•Darnold prefers keeps it to himself mainly, but by doing so he also makes his judgement of Eiris' actions clear through how he'd avoid him until he got over it

•Tommys one of the last to accept Eiris again, it hurt so much that he had considered Benrey a friend and then had that all go down. Tommy probably won't be able to forgive Eiris until after they unfuse with Gman

•i don't have much to say for Spork apart from there being a time where they were considering if theres a way for them to manually untangle the Gman and Benreys code but in the end, with points from LB about how he can change, Spork decides that  yes it would be best to let Eiris let the Restrictor go on his own terms.. even if it does hurt Tommy and worry the others.. 

•of course though they  can only start to truely help him once Eiris is ready to start healing.

•trying to before hes ready would have made him worse.

•whenever it comes time to unfuse, Eiris would go back to the computer and willingly let go of the Restrictor 

•as for the Restrictors reaction to unfusing?? imagine the  most disappointed dad frown. the most disappointed, silent treatment from Gman. no words but you can Tell he is so upset and disappointed in Eiris. he doesn't have much time to be angry before Tommy is running to reunite with his dad!

•things will likely never be smooth between Gman and Eiris but he does become less angry over it with time

•Eiris loses his powers obviously

 •following the unfusion, Eiris would request to have wings built into his own body, hes so used to having them a part of him that now without them he feels   wrong.

Okay I don't know HOW I've only just stumbled on the concept BUT

I would VERY MUCH like to hear about your boy Eiris if you want to ramble!! He and his LB seem SO COOL

hello! hello yes! hi! 

so about Eiris, messy notes very rather messy notes since i have been all over the place with my notes forever so i have never properly organised notes for Eiris or LB

i'm gonna talk a bit about some angst & plot stuff first and at the end have some more calm or positive stuff to end off the post

•most of his story while in the computer follows closely to y2kvr canon, up to the point where he and his Loverboy escaped together

the Restrictors power remained intertwined in his code so even outside of the computer Eiris had the Restrictors powers and the big wings and the glowing eyes and the more teal color palette 

of course he can't use his powers on anything in the real world but he knows they're still there

•i think before properly getting out the computer he and Loverboy probably escape out into the wider web for a while, Loverboy quickly losing himself more and more each day the longer he remains a virtual avatar of a man, of course important things like Spork and Joshie still remain in his memory but hes largely forgotten years of his life and his job and himself, he knows he has a friend and a son out there waiting for him but he can't remember what his life outside the computer was actually like

and the only reason he hasn't forgotten the plan to escape is because Eiris keeps saying they have to- despite how powerful he is and now finally being distant from the program Eiris is still too trapped for his liking, he wants to be completely out of the computer.

but his new found powers do make him feel rather safer, not having to worry too much if the others attempted to follow them since he could easily escape them again. 

•Eiris can't get his head around the idea that ANYONE wants to help him, Even Loverboy or B- hes sure "B' only wants to help because Loverboys lagging brain is telling him to! he doesn't believe the other ai want to do anything but hurt him like how HE hurt and absorbed the Restrictor!! he ruined his relationship with the others!

•is the Restrictor dead?? i'd say not quite- it would be like how it happened in canon where hes just gone but for a much longer time, like hes in a coma?

could he be brought back?? when Eiris ever feels comfortable enough to return to the computer he could uncombine with him.

but he is too afraid to return to it.

•not to lean too far into character flanderization but Loverboy is probably so much more ditsy and thoughtless than usual from being stuck in the computer so long and from being permanently lovecored

•yea, this Loverboy is (almost) COMPLETELY incurable! 

•somewhere while in the deep web they were encountered by the other ai, Eiris tried to shoot them with his arrows, he'd MAKE them join him before he'd ever let them undo how far hes gotten, hes so close to true escape finally! they can all be free together. …its not like he could just stop now. hes come too far. hes done too much..too much damage..

and amidst the firing and fighting Loverboy is struck with an arrow. 

Eiris drops his bow. rushing to see the damage he has done, rushing to see the irreversible effect he has accidentally inflicted upon the one man who continued to tell him everyday how he would help him.- and Loverboy just smiles.. he hugs his friend close, the arrow breaking away into pixels and evaporating, 

all the guilt hits at once.

he didn't want to do this. he didn't WANT to do this! and he especially didn't want to do THIS!! 

•eventually i feel like this LB also likely has a  kind of Leading Light route?? not as intense and lacking the blackmail but he does eventually become the 'head' of the duo with Eiris taking a backseat to follow behind him, still mulling over guilt for everything he did and no longer feeling like he wants to be a part of the infection 

hes a bit of a drama queen

thankfully Spork (and the other ai once they get their robot bodies) are doing a decent job at keeping him from causing too much trouble, but that doesn't stop him from trying and leaving notes that don't work on them around the house

•in my old art post of them, Loverboys 2nd outfit is based on Leading Light

•they have matching necklaces that connect together as a heart! 

•LB designed aspects of their outfits to match with each other while also being comfortable and keeping their own styles! 

•Eiris likes to read, especially old fables and fairytales, books with some sort of moral lesson

he sometimes reads them out to Joshie

•despite how much he would talk about The Scorpion and The Frog, Eiris' favourite animal is actually highland cows

they're big, fluffy, spend most of their time just sat in fields all day

•while LBs fav animal is ferrets and stoats

they're like long spineless noodle cats

and this LB is allergic to cats

he always wanted a cat but when he found out about ferrets hes wanted 1 ever since

•as he starts to heal more, Eiris would probably pick up making scrapbooks and diaries

showing off bits of old art just cos i can!- (i really hope they don't get crunched beyond belief)

mainly his bag and his face
