The sun was dipping low, edging toward the horizon. Another night. Another Hunt. Though the air was different. It was like sparks were floating unseen, waiting to spark one hell of a fire. Edmond kept to the shadows for the time being. His mind was still reeling from his tumultuous arrival. The strange dream-like place, the doll, all of it.

Even stranger still was that the fire he always felt burning within could become manifest by his will. Black flames that seemed more like liquid darkness at times. Even with such new power, Edmond had to be careful. He had learned quickly that the Yharnamites did not take well to foreigners. With how high tension was running, he would rather not get caught out in the open by a group of them.

“Someone there?” he asked, turning his head slightly at a noise in the alleyway. “Show yourself.”

I need to write this for @eisernefrau about my alucard and their integra’s bond . as of now , it moreso teacher / student , but that alone should not be mistaken as caring . alucard remains possessive of integra && will remain as such but there is a reason behind that ;

he expects nothing but the best of her .

if he disappoints her in the slightest , he will not hesitate to emotionally abuse her . to mock her , to torment her . people commonly believe their bond would be lovable && from my prospect , it’s everything but that .

not saying alucard DOESN’T care for integra , but he really has a funny way of showing it . i refer to the movie CORALINA as the Beldam && Coralina’s bond being similar to that of Alucard && Integra . he needs her , he wants her to be strong or he would die , but not by sadness but from boredom .

he would get very bored && uncaring of integra if not for the way he raised her to be.
