Heyo. Saw your sad post. Can't even tell you how much I relate. It's super hard to dig yourself out of all the awful depression crap that gets piled on, especially in the last couple years of real-world awful. One thing that helps me, tho, is reminding myself that depression is an emotional effect and a chemical imbalance that our Very Smart Brains work hard to justify logically, which is why we come up with so many reasons to be sad and blame ourselves, cuz we can't think of what else to do.

that’s actually really great advice and not something i’d thought of. depression is kind of a weird one for me because it isn’t like full unipolar depression but a symptom of other conditions -- my chronic illness, for one. i feel like i’m still trying to come to grips with it all i guess, and frustrated i haven’t coped faster >< thank you so much for the encouragement
