Donât let them take it away (-ay-ay-ay-ay)
"...." Hikari said nothing. If that stupid idiot hadn't come barging into the stupid trial room and ruined everything. If Nori wasn't so stupid and childish being blind to what was in front of him. If she had never come to this stupid school, and she had even already lost- but that didn't matter. What mattered was getting them out of here alive. Michi, Mina and Hikaru, they were innocent lives. They didnât deserve this.
He wanted to kill them all just because they hadn't told him one stupid thing. He was such a baby. If they died who would remember them? Who would remember all her friends, all the dead students? Who would remember... him. She looked down at her feet and grit her teeth. Who would remember the days spent on the rink, who would remember the cabin they shared. Who would remember his final moments? Nobody, nobody but her. She slammed her fist into the podium, and she slammed it hard.
"you..... you're...." She didn't want this, she didn't want to cry. But she was, the tears dripping down her face wouldn't stop. "You're! YOU'RE SO SELFISH" She glared up at him. She pulled her hammer out of her belt, and dropped it onto the ground at her podium. She didnât trust herself to have it with her right now. She was so angry. âWHAT YOU THINK YOUâRE THE ONLY ONE WHO GOT HURT HERE? YOU THINK YOUâRE THE ONLY ONE THAT LOST SOMEONE? THE ONLY ONE WITH FEELINGS?â
She vaulted her podium and jumped up onto his. âYOU THINK YOUâRE SOME KIND OF SAINT?â She kicked him in the face and then shoved him down to the ground with her foot. She jumped down ontop of him, and grabbed his arm that had remained unpinned. She used it as a guard, keeping it steady under his chin. âYOU THINK YOUâRE THE ONLY ONE THAT DIDNâT MAKE ANY MISTAKES HERE HUH?â
With her free arm, her good arm, she started punching him. With his own arm be used as a railing he couldnât block or try and move his head away. âYOU THINK I WANTED THIS TO HAPPEN? THAT IâM SOME SORT OF MONSTER?â She kept punching him, she couldnât stop. Blow after blow she would just punching him again and again. âTHEY WERE MY FRIENDS! YOU THINK I WANTED IRIS TO DIE? TETSUO? DOROBO? NOVA? EISUKE?â
She spat in his face, itâs not like it mattered that much her face was already leaking all over him. âWHAT ABOUT HIDEKI, HUH? YOU THINK I WANTED THAT? YOU THINK YOU AND HIKARU ARE THE ONLY ONES HURT BY THAT? YOUâRE WRONG! HE WAS MY FRIEND TO!â It felt so much like that time, when Mitsuru left. When she had abandoned them. She just couldnât keep it all in anymore, and everything hurt.
âWHYâŠ.â Her punches slowed, they still hit but the blows were softer now. âwhy⊠why couldnât it have been you? Why did Eisuke have to die? He was so stupid, that plan with the computer was so stupid. I told him that we should bank on getting out other waysâŠ. Why did I have to be stuck relying on youâ She retracted the arm that had been punching Nori to wipe away her tears. She let out a low growl. âwhy couldnât it have been you? I hate you so much, I hate having to trust peoples lives to you. Youâre so useless and selfish, I wish it was anyone elseâ
âI want this stupid trial to be over already. Iâm so sick of it⊠Iâm so sick of them abandoning meâŠ. Mitsuru was right. I hate it but she was right. People are so useless⊠you canât rely on them they only let you down.â She gave Nori one last hard punch to the face and rose shakily, stepping on him with one foot. She turned to face the people behind her, twisting her foot on his stomach. âif you want something doneâŠ.â She glared at Tomoko. She had done this, it was all because of her. She took her foot off Nori, and gave him a kick for good measure. With that she started slowly making her way back to her podium, after all she needed something she had left there. Everything was red.
âYou have to do it yourselfâ
