“—-Usouuuu-chaaa~n, we all miss you so much over here! I’m being serious right now!!” A feminine voice whined over Stella’s cell phone. It was the first time in months since she had been in her home, having had spent her first two terms at Hope’s Peak Academy. While the seer had been hoping to spend some time with her family, she was still excited to hold an actual party in her house for the first time in forever. It was incredibly common for Stella hold get-togethers at her place in her old high school, but Hope’s Peak made her act different.
She had found the courage to actually send out invitations to everyone in her first period, seeing as it was the class that she felt the most comfortable with. “Awww, I miss you too, Senpai! I really do,” she smiled while drying the last of the dishes. The voice began squealing loudly almost immediately with some sort of negative emotion before finally making out the words, “Noooooo!! D- Don’t call me that!! I won’t accept that from the likes of you!! Y- You damn Super High-School Level, that’s too much!!”
“Still as loud as ever?” Stella winced, though unable to hold back a laugh, “It’s a wonder how everyone can put up with you~! Especially without me around to hold you back…”
“Ugh! I’m not a child! I have some control, you know!”
“I’m sure.” She rolled her eyes at this statement. That was a lie. She knew very well that wasn’t true. “Anyways, I told you before that I’m busy right now.”
“Busy, huh?” The girl mused over her speaker phone, “Still studying for your midterms? We’ve been struggling with really badly here too. Ours are coming up next week! It’s a total nightmare here.”
“Ah, well, I just finished testing this week,” Stella explained, “I’m going to be hosting a little party for my class. A small celebration sort of thing, I guess.”
“Ahhh~~~! A party full of bunch of geeks,” her Senpai gushed sarcastically, “What a dream~! You better hang out with us next weekend after we’re done testing! You owe us some fun too.”
“How could I say no to that?” Stella questioned, picking her up her phone once finished with her last chore. “I promise I will, Senpai, but I’m afraid we must part for now. I will be reuniting soon with my own geeks… Then I will grace you with my presence at a later time, my sweet~”
“Haha, gross! I’ll talk to you later then, Usou-chan– you better tell me how the party goes!” The two former classmates made their goodbyes before hanging up. With a sigh, Stella then pulled her hair out of its bun before walking out of the kitchen and into the living room. Who was to come first, she wondered. Oh, she hoped this party would actually be somewhat enjoyable. She knew how to please her friends, but most of her classmates were still something else to her. She liked a few, she feared a few, even intimidated by some.
Relaxing was key now, though! None of that anxiety in this household! Her grandmother had put enough crystals and candles around to keep those sort of feelings out of this place! She had to remain positive, happy, excited!
… Ah, she was pretty excited though.
The girl made her way downstairs until reaching her family’s shop. It was just as she remembered it. Shelves and displays featuring all sorts of trinkets that someone of her talent would love, and with more. All sorts of candles that had various instructions taped to them, as well as questionable items that could only go into the right hands. She never did liked those damned ouija boards that her grandmother would sell… Creepy…
Walking to the front door, she opened it as a small ‘ding’ announced her exit. Outside were all sorts of stores, cafes, and various shops on every corner. She wondered for a moment over how her classmates would feel knowing that she lived in a place like this? Surely they weren’t expecting something extravagant, right? The thought admittedly made her nervous…
“Mmmm…”
Needless to say, Mayuri was quite lost! The small girl had meandered through every alley; bumping into others, mumbling some apologies-- even finding herself in dead ends! But as a little shop with trinkets and candles came into view, tears began to well up in pink eyes. Holding the black invitation close, Mayuri desperately tried to find away to not disappoint her friend!
Still-- her little heart started thumping as a little thought dawned in her mind; Mayuri had never been to a party with others her own age. Pink cheeks turned red while the click-clacks of shoes slowed; walking turned to a tiptoe as her delicate hand knocked-- perhaps a little too softly--, then pushed open the door.
“Uwa.. mm..”
Unable to hear the ding, or Stella coming to greet her; Mayuri felt her heart nervously skipping beats.
“Esuse me? U- Uucho-san? Iid Maluwi!”

[Chpt 3] On A Clear Day || Chika/Mayuri
Chika blinked down at the girl frantically scribbling in her notebook. The sunfish was cute. After reading her response, Chika studied the other girl closely for a moment, and tried not to visibly frown. Her quiet, shy, demeanor reminded her a lot of Harumi…Chika’s chest tightened at the thought and looked away. She’d learnt her lesson on trusting people just because of their outer behavior and appearances. And while she was actually pretty positive Mayuri seemed safe to be around, ever since Harumi…it was just really difficult to not be suspicious of just about anyone. When people are put in the situation they’re in, well, it’s not hard for them to break down and crack.
“It’s not a big deal…I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going because I didn’t think there was anyone else here…you don’t need to apologize.”
“Are you alright? This must be a pretty difficult situation for yo-”
“Ah, no, that’s…I didn’t mean for that to come out so rude…or to make it seem like you’re helpless just because you can’t hear…I just, it’s pretty dangerous…are you going to be alright on your own?”
She was digging her own grave. In more ways then one, too. Instead of taking the safe road and being overly cautious of the girl, she decided it’d be best not to make anymore enemies then she’d need to, and tried to show some concern for Mayuri. Chika sighed and rubbed at the back of her neck with her free hand and glanced at the isle of breads and baked goods next to them, trying to distract herself from her own rude remark. It wasn’t like she was trying to come off as rude or inconsiderate, she just wasn’t sure how to approach something like this. She didn’t know anyone back home with any sort of disability, and she couldn’t help but feel a little guilty after saying what she did. It was probably hard enough on Mayuri as it was without the unnecessary comments from strangers.
“... N- Nahn yah falt...”
As soon as the verbal translator loaded, the volunteer worker slowly placed her hands at her sides, opting to communicate verbally. Chika’s confusion was understandable, in a way. Most often assumed Mayuri was weak; for a number of reasons. If anything however, there was a feeling of detestment for that sort of thought. The girl wasn’t weak. She was just as strong as anyone on the island.
“.. Ish okay, am fan.”
Brushing it off was just one way Mayuri had grown accustomed to this. She was neither vulnerable nor invulnerable. It was true that deafness would’ve made her an easy target, but there was certainly more to the ingenuousness mold the girl so delicately filled herself. Even so, making friends and bonding seemed to be essential at this time, and so-- an attempt to steer the awkward conversation was made.
“... !!”
Ever so gently did she take Chika’s hands in her own, white fluff bouncing up and down with her movements. Her grim expression grew pleasant in a second, and guided the bassist within the bakery aisle. Her presence shifted into warmth as the corners of plush pink lips grew into a smile.
It seemed that Mayuri wanted to do a little browsing.
Mayuri is like a precious little peach oh my gods
i’m glad you like her, friend! <3
[Chpt 3] On A Clear Day || Chika/Mayuri
After Hayato finally left, Chika finally got out of bed and stretched. The morning had been full of awkward tension…though she wasn’t sure if Hayato exactly noticed considering how he was…either way she observed the room a bit closer now that she had the chance. She wrinkled her nose a bit, noticing the laundry beginning to pile up…on the floor. She tried not to laugh at the state of his room, but it was difficult and ended up chuckling to herself anyway. After taking a quick look around his kitchenette, she noticed neither of them had much in their pantries…well she knew what she was doing today.
She thought back to before Hayato had left when she was trying to distract herself and had swiped through the maps for a few minutes to see what was available and had seen a grocery store. Maybe she could pay him back for letting her crash at his place by picking some stuff up for him? She Grabbed her sweater that was hanging off a chair, pulled it on, and dashed out of Hayato’s room before anyone could catch her.
Apartments → Grocery Store
Finally arriving at the grocery store, Chika grabbed a hand basket and began looking around, not paying too much attention to where she was walking. She figured it was still fairly early and that no one would really be around, and it didn’t seem like anyone was there. That was until she felt a soft thud and saw a wave of blond hair in her face.
“Oh! I…I’m sorry… are you-”
She stopped herself in the middle of her sentence after realizing who she’d run into. It was the quiet fluffy looking girl from the previous trial before Harumi’s. She was deaf right? Not knowing sign language herself, she couldn’t sign to the girl, but remembered that Monobear had given her a translation device for her card. Chika held up her own card and pointed to it, tapping, to try to tell her to open her program do they could better speak to one another.
With every death, another door opened to a new world.
Or in this case, another area worth exploring.
The recent memories of death and despair lay fresh in Mayuri’s mind-- haunting her dreams until the sun shone through curtains. Tired and somewhat frustrated, the volunteer worker had a slow start on her day.
Apartments → Grocery Store
Had she stumbled too far from the apartments? What had prompted to believe that venturing somewhere unknown all alone would’ve been a good idea? It-- It wasn’t like she didn’t trust people, no. In fact, she would’ve given up herself if it meant no one else would die. And yet..
Her sleepy eyes slowly open and shut, long soft locks bounced with every dazed step she took. Until--
“Pufwah.. !!”
A gentle bump into something much taller was all it took to bring Mayuri back to reality. Her hold on the pink notebook tightened in a pulse of fear, but slowly loosened upon gazing at the beautiful Chika Minami-- was that her name? This person was nice, right?
‘... Sorry...’
That was all Mayuri could read before an ID card was produced.
..
Of course!
The girl nodded, fumbling around for her own card to read what the other had said. Her cheeks flushing into a sweet shade of pink, it took some time for Mayuri to write a response.
“I’m sorry, miss. I should’ve seen where I was going! Are you okay?”
“Wha’do ah get if I win?” “Implyin’ you’re even gonna win.” “Piss off.”

Attention Students!
It has been a long while since I last properly showed my face in this neck of the woods, but I am now here with monumental news – the next installment of the Danganronpa franchise has been revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2015 under the name ダンガンロンパV3 みんなのコロシアイ新学期 (Danganronpa V3: Everyone’s New Semester of Mutual Killing)!
Although I have been woefully absent ever since completing Danganronpa: Another Episode’s script due to newfound academic and personal responsibilities, I would like to celebrate this news by resuming activity on this dusty blog. I will be posting any fresh information regarding Danganronpa V3 alongside translations and interpretations for your convenience as well as eventually translating the game’s script as I did with it’s predecessor once the game hits the Japanese market. Apart from that, I would also like to extend my hand in apology to those that found my sudden disappearance earlier in the year worrying by offering to translate any materials and answer any questions that may or may not be related to Danganronpa. Do bear in mind that I may not be able to reach you right away due to my aforementioned responsibilities, however!
Here’s to a new semester!
No. | Body Discovery | Chapter 2 | Mayuri Tomomi
No.
No. No. No. No.
Mayuri was only making her way back to her room, strolling by idly when the crowd of students bolted through; that could only have meant one thing.
Soon enough, the girl found herself staring face to face with a fallen body; seemingly asleep if not for the blood that pooled out of her wounds; Stella Ethereal, or Usuo Tsukino was dead. An innocent soul; Tsukino-san had never tried to hurt anyone. All she did was bumble about in her own odd, endearing ways-- the volunteer worker had hoped for some form of friendship to bloom between them, but now? Perhaps that wish could’ve existed in another world.
Her footsteps ever so light and delicate hesitantly crept towards the frozen corpse, her body descending into a kneel. Her fingers gently brushed the dark locks framing Usuo’s face, tears pooling in her eyes.
With this death, Mayuri knew it was only a matter of time before more tragedy would strike at the hearts of vulnerable children.

When Angels Cry || Mayuri || Chapter 2 || Motive Reaction
Frail fingers froze on the envelope.
In another’s perspective, Mayuri’s motive wasn’t all too bad. However, to the girl-- her entire image was at stake. She was meant to be infallible-- an angel, or at least something good-- She was meant to be admired for her actions and yet--
...
She couldn’t let anyone know. She--
A rumble shook the volunteer worker away from dark, intimidating thoughts as a force knocked her small body back on her rear. Heat kissed her face momentarily, scruching up in an effort to regain vision-- only to be met by ash, and the panicked faces of others.
Though dread bubbled up in her chest once more, the sight of fear in a certain redheads eyes only seemed to come to mind.
“K- K a c h u n o d a - s a n !!”
Ever so quickly did she lunge forward; nearly crawling over in a rush to comfort her distressed classmate.
Soft and safe arms wrapped themselves around Nodame, her gentle hand pressing the others head against the crook of her neck. All the while, Mayuri soothed and caressed the poor girl, unable to believe that the thought of murder nearly overtook her easily swayed mindset.
She never even realized what she left behind in her place.
