I think self aware aus have so much potential for character existential crises, like, yandere is fine (in my opinion, i kinda don't want to get into that discourse, u like what u like, just be normal abou it pls), but i think if we took out the yandere theme and just think about the self aware part, the ways we could make theories about how each character would react to just being pngs in our world, make psychological analyzes of each character and how they would interact if the player had been transferred into the game. THE INFINITE POSSIBILITIES OF ANGST?!?!??!!!

The potential is literally a inch away, but the general community just sees it as a yandere theme, seeing self aware aus as just a subcategory of yandere is a disservice to the theme of self aware characters.

...to be honest i'm kinda scared to post this... but i think it's okey to have this take. It doesn't invalidate the yandere genre, nor does it invalidate anyone, it's just an opinion about what it could be, and the potential it would have.

(Btw i was thinking mostly about twst, but this applies to any media really).

My hubby gifted me a new PC for my birthday (35 tomorrow, omg) and I'm slowly getting my game back up and running.

Surprisingly, after just the 4 GB patch, the game's running smooth on Windows 11 so far.

I was even able to take my test sims on vacation without crashing and pink soup. I've gone through 2 laptops and a PC since picking up the game in 2014, and I've NEVER been able to take sims on vacation! Pretty excited about that honestly lol.

Setting the sims up to play is in itself a hobby sometimes, so getting my game back where I want it is slow going, but I hope to be able to come out of hiatus again soon!

now that I've kinda had time to think about today and read peoples observations on it, what did today even accomplish? If it was to kill phil, he did die to them, but was meaningless since he just immediately respawned. It posed no threat to his real children since all they did was impersonate them. And it just gave Etoiles and Phil a chance to give the binary monsters (2 of them which just also raises more questions) a piece of their minds. Like mans immediately noticed within the minute of them appearing that they were not his and did not hesitate to attack when he came back from game crashing. (That could not have been anymore well timed PFFFT)

So this just leaves me with questions. Why is there 2 of them and could every egg have its own imposter them? What could have made the binary monsters win in that situation?

Im also just remembering that some of the candidates did die to the binary monsters, but then shortly after, everyone got teleported outside.

Im probably not looking at this with all sides since i am just a Philza main, but just thinking about Phil, it had no major impact that i can think about.

a) i'm thrilled for all the lore i'm going to get that will explain random details in swtor

b) i understand now why people are clamoring for a remake, the graphics are so crunchy. though i do find there's a certain nostalgic appeal to the low poly imagery.
