#Repost @balleralert ・・・ RP @leemerrittesq This is how white people are policed. His gun is trained on an unarmed surrendered man. He points his gun at police and they bravely place themselves in this lunatics path, rush him, disarm him— and take him into custody. He’ll be passed off to the white courts and he’ll get white justice. That’s white power. The power to survive a police encounter. The white cop could do his job without fearing for his life and killing someone unnecessarily because this was a white encounter. Last week one of these magic white men killed 2 people. White cops didn’t kill him. They agreed with his mission. They allowed him to go home, get a good nights rest— passed him off to the white courts. He’s being treated as a white juvenile. The white media has failed to eviscerate his white family. White law enforcement ignore his many crimes & build his defense into their reports. No one honestly imagines this is the policing black communities get. Black people get shot through their bedroom window by cops “fearing for their lives” #atatianajefferson. Black people get shot disarming the bad guy #ejbradford #jemelroberson. Black people get shot in their back seven times without a weapon at all #JakeBlake. I’m not saying they should have shot this guy but they blew up the suspected black terrorist #micahjohnson. That black veteran was agitated by the vast differences in the policing he received after he had risked his life serving the country abroad. He returned to a country that led the free world in police violence and boast the largest prison population on the planet matched with a policing culture that criminalized his blackness. They criminalized his mental health. Criminalized his drug abuse (the one they shared and introduced him to). When he snapped and killed cops there was no heroic arrest for him like countless white mass shooters— they literally blew him up using a high powered explosive. @bexarcosheriffChief just said his boys did a “good job” killing Sergeant #DamianDaniels after his family asked the Red Cross to check on his mental health. I wish she could have called the #BlackCross. I believe #BlackPower is the cure. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEh2VrjAY8Nqb5OxEVgwd-Ie68DyHtVLvkg7A80/?igshid=1eg3hz634narj
