Mile 131

I am a HUGE liar! I said I probably wouldn't post until I got my snake bites and here is my second post since then! I just had my doctors appointment and holy shit, I got stuck like a fucking pig. I also just realized that's an odd saying. Are pigs stuck a lot or something?.... Anyway... I passed a kidney stone this morning, so I started off having a lot of pain and because of that, my temperature, heart rate and blood pressure were all high. I was given a shot of an anti-inflammatory that sounds similar to Tramadol by name... It was something like... Tu... something or another. It was to take the edge off the pain until I was able to get home and get my pain meds refilled. Then I got hooked up to an EKG machine to get some readings on my heart rate, I got a TB test since I have been on Humira for a whole year. My Doctor just wants to keep check on that, since you need to have a TB test when your on Humira. I had one about a year ago and I was clean so I'm pretty sure it'll come up negative again. After that, I had blood taken... well... I WOULD have had blood work taken if they were able to find any veins. I was stuck three-four times and absolutely nothing was coming out. I almost passed out because my veins kept collapsing. I have to go back Wednesday so they can check on the TB sight, so when I go back, they are just going to try taking my blood again. So that was fun! And tomorrow I'll be getting my piercings done so I'll be stuck even more! But at least they won't be trying to get blood or anything. That's always a freaking nightmare! I wish they could have just taken blood from my arteries but they can only do that if I was given an IV or something. Oh, also, the state is trying to do HUGE cut backs on budget for health clinics and that could mean a lot of health clinics losing business. My clinic is doing a petition to stop that from happening and I REALLY don't want to lose my doctor!! So once I get the link for their online petition, I would really REALLY appreciate it if you all could sign it for me. I will make a post with link in it ASAP. It would mean so much to me! <3
