🍔 Review № 606 ━ 📍 Chuck Burger ★★★★☆ • Chuck Burger opened in central Eksjö in 2021, becoming the first restaurant in town serving craft burgers. Their menu consists of around 10 burgers costing between 118 and 125 SEK (11–12 USD) for a 150-gram patty burger, and they also had one vegetarian and one vegan option. We ordered a "Rostiga" with cheese, pickles, roasted onions and burger sauce, and added an extra patty for 50 SEK (4.5 USD) and bacon for 15 SEK (1.5 USD). We also ordered french fries for 30 SEK (3 USD) and sweet potato fries for 55 SEK (5 USD). • Our burger was pretty massive and looked really inviting. The juicy meat was the star here, well-seasoned with an excellent crust that made the flavours pop. The soft bun from the local Eksjö favourite Lennarts Konditori was soft and squishy, but could have been a bit more toasted to handle the beef juices and the burger sauce better. The sauce itself was pretty sweet as well, and didn't really shine. We would have preferred if the bacon had been cooked a bit more to make it crispy, especially seeing as we paid extra for it. But overall this was a very tasty and filling hamburger. The high quality french fries were crispy and tasty, and we also enjoyed the sweet potato fries despite their high price. • Chuck Burger's hamburgers and sides are rather expensive, especially if you opt for double patties, but the quality was really high. So now Eksjö can offer more than just a cool wooden city, but also a really good burger as well. ━ @chuck_burger_eksjo #burger #burgerdudes #eksjö (at Chuck Burger) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClAz-1sDGtZ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
