Like the title says, the week before architecture school starts back up is the most crucial! You’ve gotta get your hair cut, have some last minute fun, and pack your bag with ALL the necessities to get ahead in studio! AND at the end of the show I give you a preview of what I hope the rest of the semester is going to look like for my channel.
I got to show my mom and little sister a whole different perspective of how our country celebrates 4Th of July and not to mention a different type of weather too! It was a nice sunny, breezy time in Rhode Island this past week and I got to spend it with my family!
I know it has been a little while but these two weeks have been a nice little break off from school and now I’m back at it!
Well this week my entire studio went on a field trip to see a couple boat houses!!
If these drawings show us designers anything it is that details are important. One thing that I learned from today after seeing so many amazing architectural drawings is that details build up. It’s easy to just put a bold line around something to make it stand out but that just takes away from the beautiful nature of our designs. By adding detail on detail the drawing itself creates a focus that draws your eyes in that act as a bold line but with more complexity. Today was a good day in class and not only am I happy with my drawings but everyone else was too.
Let’s get to work! Because you know, we hardly ever get much work done late at night anyways...
